WWE Hall of Fame 2016 inductees leaked. Likely to go in are...

The WWE 2016 Hall of Fame is often an empty and futile excerise today which fails to respect commitments and achievements of the wrestling world. For WWE it is a money making concept which is highly illegitmate considering some entries and how they got in.

WWE have bragged about "two time inductee" Ric Flair. Inductees can only enter a Hall of Fame once. WWE continue their own lunacy which taints the entire ceremony.

Going in this year is leading ignorant 'star' Sting. The face painted monochrome knock to Max Waltham, also filled with ignorance of the highest order, will lead the ceremony. Sting has had a total of two matches in WWE and both were mainstream losses to Triple H and Seth Rollins, in which Sting almost became paralysed. Sting has never had a contract or career in WWE at all and was a budget version of The Undertaker in WCW's past. WWE revealed he was entered before tickets went on sale in hopes to boost sales only.

Also entering will be long time friend of WWE and occasional cameo star Charles Wright, aka The Godfather. Wright was also infamous in late 1980's to earlier 1990's day's as Papa Shango.

Tag team The Fabuolous Freebirds are going in.

Women's Wrestling champion of her time Jacqueline will be rightfully entering. She's local to Wrestlemania's location.

Also local is JBL, who is heavily rumoured and likely to enter the list. Many question the legitimacy. His former tag partner Ron Simmons was in a few years ago in 2012.

The infathomable celebrity wing has snubbed many deserving and this year is no exception. The often odd choices are enhanced this year with television host Regis Philbin. Why, no-one quite knows, nor cares.

Ultimate Warrior passes away days after Wrestlemania XXX

appearances over Wrestlemania weekend 

Wrestling legend and WWF superstar The Ultimate Warrior, 54, has died. Real name James Brian Hellwig, known as Jim to close friends and family, collapsed only hours after appearing on Monday night Raw on which he gave his final speech, also to help promote a forthcoming DVD, gave this statement. 

"Every mans heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe its final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the bodies of others; If it makes them believe deeper in something larger than life; than his essence, his spirit, will be immortalised." Naturally fans have already began conspiracy theories involving a possible coincidental suicide from the obscure message. Hellwig collapsed at 5.50pm on twenty-four hours after Monday's Raw appearance. whilst walking from his hotel room to meet his wife. He also leaves behind two children also. He began his career in 1987. 

Warrior was well know for his high levels of drug abuse with anabolic steroids. Many over the Hall of Fame ceremony stated in new reports they felt something "was seriously off" with Hellwig's behaviour.

Earlier this weekend Warrior was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2014 after years of isolation from the company and it's chairman. Disagreements for years had simmered over for the final event. Once their level of peace was achieved, after years of torment and frustrations on both side, Hellwig has now departed days after making his return to the wrestling stage. 

Karma is an extraordinary concept. Working in mysterious ways, perhaps this should be a beacon of understanding for many in the business. With businessmen, bookers and wrestlers upsetting the foundations with ill thought choices and upsetting those who help shape careers, when the time to make this rightful comes, the end could be apparent for all.

Try to adhere to as good decisions as possible, without own abusive morals intervening with tough disagreement and do not willingly upset others for the sake of it. If you willingly seek such hardship, it will affect the future in ways we cannot contemplate predicting. The cosmos works in mysterious ways. It is all about how you handle yourself. It does not like to be upset so vividly. Do not allow it to be a bitter resentment that makes everything else seem completely meaningless when it is too late. You don't truly know what you have until it is finally gone.

Obituary: Mae Young

Westling Legend passes at landmark ninety 

years shaping way for female wrestling

In this Obituary, Wrestling Wonders celebrates the career and influence of one of it's most decorated performers. As a tribute, we look back at the glorious times of the sporting delight that will forever be Mae Young, wrestling's most unforgettable wrestling diva.

Mae Young proved to be an influential force for good in the industry of Women's Wrestling. Taking up her position in the wrestling business at the age of sixteen, Young would cast a guiding light on the change in appreciation of female wrestling.

At the age of fifteen, Johnnie Mae Young, the youngest of her family, Young was placed onto her high school wrestling team integrated with the boys. Unafraid to mix it up and prove her strong will for the sport, Young began honing her skills with huge determination.

Coming from a background affected by poverty in the Great Depression, Young's family troubles increased with the absence of her father and siblings in times of strife.

Young appeared at a professional wrestling event challenging standout wrestler Mildred Burke, champion at that time on a trip to Tulsa. She later battled Gladys Gillem proving popular with a victory in mere seconds. It was here she met notorious agent Billy Wolfe who convinced her to become a professional wrestler. Mae then spent two years training forcing her to leave home. 

One of Young's most defining moments came when she would inadvertently become an ambassador for female wrestling. On December 7th 1941 Young entered a match, as this day is now know as Pearl Harbour. During the Japanese attack the United States entered World War II. During the war Young was instrumental in the fight for female acceptance. Young focused her attentions and rose among the adversity to strengthen the bond of the sport and females among male interactions also.

After the war ended Young and Burke, who established a strong relationship to boost female grapplers were the first to tour Japan easing tensions. Shortly after this Young was catapulted through the National Wrestling Alliance with flying colours as its first recognised NWA Florida Women's Champion. She also joined an infamous Battle Royal five years on in 1956 to crown a new NWA World Women's Champion, won by her close friend The Fabulous Moolah.

In 1968 Young became the first NWA's first United States Women's Champion.

It was a long while until Young joined the WWF on the September 9th Smackdown. Jeff Jarrett invited Moolah, seated with Young in the audience to the ring. After accepting, Jarrett smashed his synonymous guitar over her head. Here, Young attempt to intervene only to be locked into a figure four submission hold. Thereafter Young and Moolah were inseparable on WWE television in numerous appearances and skits helping advance the careers of growing future stars. 

Always up for a laugh and good sport Mae often endured some comedy skits which were terrible. However, the majority, even the bad one's were made pleasant by Young's attention to detail and transforming the situations into her own. Young was stripped to her bra and panties by Ivory on Raw and also named Miss. Royal Rumble 2000 winning a bikini contest to the current divas' disapproving. Though many divas intended to embarrass Young on the national stage, Young revelled in her sexuality. Feeling confident, empowered and tenacious, Young refused to be upset by her exposed body. Turning the tables on the calculating females, she would lure them into a false sense of security. Comfortable with her near nudity shocking other ladies, she struck down her foes instead to rise above victorious. 

Young's most infamous skit involved then boyfriend Mark Henry. She also endured a shocking powerbomb in WWE history which is now the most renowned and extraordinary act ever. Young was previously announced as pregnant beforehand, now posing concern for the seventy-seven year old. Giving birth, fans and Henry were shocked when Young's birth was nothing more than a blood stained hand. Fans were meant to believe the powerbomb had torn her child into fragments, remaining inside Young's womb. Naturally the angle received upset debate from certain fans. A tricky subject to address, Young praised enthusiasm for the stunt. At that time in wrestling and able to work with any scenario thrown her way, Young still made the scene compelling today. 

Young appeared on Raw 1000 in the dressing room backstage next to her son. With a young guy in a hand, Young addressed her "son" with adoration. Her son loved her back proud of one another. The divas locker room were somewhat perplexed. Fans found the segment in acceptable taste, given the time passing. 

Young's final appearance with WWE was on the Old School Raw edition. She celebrated her ninetieth birthday. Backstage Young received a gracious gift presented by Triple H and Chairman Vince McMahon with a divas championship replica. The idea was implemented by Stephanie McMahon, to which Young respected. 

On New Year's Eve 2013 Young was drastically rushed to hospital. Disgraced publication The Charleston Post & Courier quickly reported Young had died. Highly inaccurate and shaming themselves sparking outrage and fear for fans, the post attempted to make a cheap cash in on the WWE legend. Despite the tasteless appeal for flocking readers, Young sadly passed away shortly after on January 14th 2014. On the January 17th episode of Smackdown WWE dedicated a fitting tribute to Young. Shamefully Impact Wrestling attempted to 'get in first' for publicity and give a tribute to Young on the 16th. Young had no involvement or wrestling detail with TNA. It was seen as a completely tasteless disregarded move by clueless TNA President Dixie Carter for publicity and mocking the WWE's impending tribute, to which Young was highly notorious with in her later years. TNA invaded and embarrassed themselves with such a shameful move which had no involvement on their part. It was not their place and could have made a mockery of the legend's name if it weren't for such strong following from fans and industry experts.  

Young made such notorious headway in her career that she was inducted into the Professional Hall of Fame in August 2004 and the WWE Hall of Fame in the class of 2008. Wrestling Wonders has also respected Mae's accomplishments over 2013.

With her natural bond with close friend The Fabulous Moolah and a pinnacle for female wrestling, Young helped the movement strive forward. In times of unappreciation Mae's accomplishments alongside others will continue on in a positive manner. Delivering exemplary standards and precision in her in ring talent, appearances and publicity where counted Young held prominence. Now, in 2014, Young and others have laid a foundation that has allowed female talent to strive for a real  chance at a future in the business.

Unrivalled with her comedy skill and natural warmth, Young will be one of wrestling history's most respected females making it as a nonagenarian veteran. Wrestler. Woman. Friend. Young has added a huge definition to the label of female wrestler that has been highly valued. May one of wrestling's finest divas truly rest peacefully.

WWE Hall of Fame 2013 revealed. Trish going in!

WWE have secured diva Trish Stratus a place in the Hall of Fame class of 2013 scheduled at Madison Square Garden after reaching her at the eleventh hour last week. The original place was potentially marked for Sable.

WWE’s other inductees this year have confirmed Mick Foley and Bob Backlund. D-Generation X will also go in as now will Trish Stratus.

Deserves honours nonetheless

All members of DX will enter. Triple H, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Shawn Michaels (again?) and X-Pac. WWE diva Chyna, an original member, however, will not be inducted.

Kamala has been discussed early on as rumour though high on the list to seek membership to the HOF.

Triple H has been personally aiming to acquire Bruno Sammartino into the prestigious class, though Vince McMahon’s feeling isn’t that fussed with Sammartino due to bad beef over the years. Sammartino has rejected previous offers from Vince due to the HOF being a farce with non-wrestling celebrities and ridiculous stars that contradict the legitimacy of a true legend inducted. WWE’s Hall of Fame consists of legends, a few wrestling personalities, a game show host, a comedy chicken and a convicted rapist.

Triple H has personally flown to ‘Tino’s home and believes this to be a ‘making’ of his power and style if he can ‘pull it off’ and acquire Bruno. Bruno is about honour, prestige and wrestling talent.

Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts was one name being discussed and could make up the numbers if Sammartino doesn’t ‘comply’ with WWE’s request. Roberts has been long overdue.

Although, there doesn’t seem to be anyone named for the celebrity spot. We feel Cyndi Lauper may receive the nod this year, though if she doesn’t WWE may gear towards eventual inductee David Arquette.  Should Jake Roberts finally get his honours it would be the best and fitting option to place Alice Cooper into the celebrity wing. Lauper, Cooper and certain others paved a way that deserved their celeb honours in wrestling.

When it comes to WWE’s HOF booking, they select the most valuable star name, then the WWE Universe feel they pick random, pointless, non interesting stars or personalities to make up the surplus numbers.

The fact WWE chose to select its own choices without legitimacy, taints its lineage, something Sammartino has high concern with. The fact it wants all of DX in, but leaves out one member adds contradiction to the ceremony. Inducting certain people twice is becoming a farce among itself. HBK and Flair taking two honours is ridiculous and the whole point WWE miss is that those going in are the wrestlers/performers on one entry alone. So, even if say, Flair/HBK is part of a group and they were inducted as solo beforehand, then it means that the group they were in can get their honours meaning you’re not inducting DX, you’re inducting all the members but as a mass cluster in recognition. HBK, for example, always remains as a member who made it first.

Another example. Triple H, some say is likely to gain a three time record inductions spree as part of groups including DX and solo performances. All those members, A,B,C,D and E are lined for induction. Say A is HHH and B is HBK, then A goes in. B is already in, and can join on stage with his comrades, or induct. A will not gain another nomination. Not because they don’t deserve it, but because they have already been inducted. Do you understand?

The nWo, for example, many believe Hogan is trying to gain another entry from, would send in Hall and Nash, but Hogan has already made the honours, therefore can celebrate but already sits in the ceremony, therefore has no need to go in again, and again,, and again. You go in once. That’s it.

We mentioned in our Sable article that ideally Trish and Lita going in next year at Mania 30 together would have been much better and a fan delight. WWE rebuked that ideal. WWE have been seen by many Universer's as only going for headlines in mass media outlets than honouring the ceremony and it's performers, another issue sitting firmly with Sammartino.

Let's see how it unfolds on Raw every week then, shall we?

King Kong Bundy hijacks WWE Hall of Fame

During Monday 14^th 2013’s broadcast of Raw, King Kong Bundy earlier dropped a tweet revealing he would be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Fans who blindly accept any word on the net jumped at the revelation assuming he would be inducted on WWE’s Raw as the first.

“Sounds like someone listened to the #Bundyholics regarding my Hall of Fame Huge announcement tomorrow night #FIVE.”

WWE showed the first inductee to its 2013 class of WWE Hall of Fame as Mick Foley, though he was interrupted by The Shield before able to speak or take honours speech. It was made official on the following Smackdown, as well as that episode of Raw having a backstage endorsement from The Rock.

Bundy will be inducted into the Pro Wrestling Report Hall of Fame over Wrestlemania weekend on April 5^th in New York. They have no connection to WWE, however Bundy humourously trolled the WWE Universe into believing the WWE HOF would honour him. Probably never now, nevertheless, a wonderful job.

This announcement also made WWE Universer’s ask why Bundy had not and hasn’t received his honours to the ceremony for being an outstanding worker for his size and at the height of his era. 

Bundy took on numerous challengers including a bee man and midgets as well as "The Colossal Jostle" against the eighth wonder of the world, Andre The Giant in an hour long time limit. The crowd were electric for that one.

WWE diva Sable to join WWE Hall of Fame 2013?

Months ago former WWE diva of the past Rena Marlette Lesnar, 45, was highly tipped to become part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2013 for her career as Sable. Sable, married to returning superstar Brock Lesnar, who himself is on a limited schedule with WWE appearances, are both expected to play their parts over Wrestlemania weekend, with Lesnar participating in action on the grand stage as former Mrs. Mero takes her honours.

Of course, everything is subject to change, however, many believe the already pre thought decision will go ahead, and it will.

Some fans in the WWE Universe have been slightly miffed that WWE divas Trish Stratus and Lita aren't taking any honours.

Allow Wrestling Wonders to clear this up. Sable was one of the original divas and has more induction place over Stratus and Lita. This doesn’t mean however that they could come after, they could take beforehand, however with Lesnar returning and Sable available it would be daft not to acknowledge one of the original divas of her time akin to the Sunny era also.

Marlette made her own mark on the impact she garnered in her time with the company, as well as discrepancies later on, which only highlights that the two are able to come together in unison with positive negotiations.

As for Stratus and Lita, WWE will clearly aim to place Trish in first of the two; however, Wrestling Wonders would prefer that, at Wrestlemania XXX, both Trish and Lita to enter the ceremony together. Both females created the division tremendously and gave a new perspective that has today been tarnished. The great debate of who is better also circulates and for many Trish is the clear favourite, though Lita was forthcoming in her own right and for WW she tips the scale, only slightly, with a tiny margin as the pair can never truly be separated. Therefore it would be a monumental feat and crowd pleaser added with ticket sales potentially to see the two greatest females of the previous century to receive their tokens of respect.

Female wrestler Sable, the sexpot siren turning heads in her wake was involved in feuds with Luna Vachon and Jacqueline, became WWF Women’s champion upon its reintroduction, returned in the early 2000s to combat Torrie Wilson and became Mr. McMahon’s mistress in his romancing character days. She has also graced the cover of Playboy magazine, before moving into acting roles afterward.

As Sable, married to then star Marc Mero, the diva made her debut escorting Hunter Hearst Helmsley to the ring at Wrestlemania XII.  She also fought a number of men including and defeating Mero himself.

Abraham Washington fired from WWE at long last

Abraham Washington was fired by WWE on August 10th. While some fans are supporting the dire rip off character of Max Waltham, the reason Abe was fired has been revealed. Clearing this up below, we will explain as to why racist, intolerable, no mark Washington was rightly booted out.

Washington returned to TV in his most recent outings from a hiatus of nowheredom to play an adaptation of a motivational speaker, come advisor, come knowledgeable force to alter the pro wrestling landscape in every aspect, online and on television, to be mocked up by a shadow of that design.

Washington was seemingly fired for unleashing a rape joke by comparing Titus O Neil, a no hoper, brick built lump devoid of any personally who is still unable to throw himself into a ring post successfully, a basic move from 'wrestling school.' A.W would compare him to a rampant Kobe Bryant, a basketball player who had committed a rape clause. This did not bother McMahon though saw A.W fired nearer to this timing, leaving the dumbass 'Internet wrestling community' to once again spread 'reports' and ' articles' thinking they got a big scoop revealing the wrong information once again. If you want accuracy, stop reading the dumb wrongful 'news' known as idol gossip with no warranted merit. Choose credible sources. We are the only credible one. Everyone tries to outdo us, yet they expose themselves as pointless and inconsistent once more.

WWE, who have inducted a rapist into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, in the field of boxing, had no issues with the joke. Though one may assume they came under fire for it. McMahon was highly incensed when Abe tweeted a support message for Linda McMahon. Linda, running for senate a second time at an expensive cost, who also had to bail out WWE for its financial loss earlier this year with hubby Vince, is no longer afflicted with the wrestling company she resigned from in order to stand for government. WWE support the option that the two are highly separate and no one should mention Linda in WWE's walls.

WWE, of course, realised that losing Abraham Washington was no big loss as his only 'strength' was talking, and let's face it, he could not maintain any charisma, and could only take text and mentions from Wrestling Wonders. Vince chose to portray Max Waltham in an altered shell of mediocrity which ruined those attempting to handle it because they are too stubborn to hire the one who often comes up with better ideas or ways forward for his stars he fails to make nor produce to devise profitably due to ego. Upon our birth, McMahon noticed instantly, and chose to boycott any mention, like the Fort Wayne arena , assuming to the big leagues and informing all staff never to interact with yours truly in order to take the ideas that were interesting and reform them as their own.

You may have seen concepts such as the Hoeski, divalicious, Brodus Clay's disco essence, Johnny Ace with his concept of People Power, derived on WW caring about its audience and product output and the divas gaining actual structure from the past year, with a mock on purpose of rubbish entities on show to attempt to mock, joke and annoy this writer, as Vinnie feels the divas have no importance and are often used to make a political point.

Washington had also been highly racist at the previous PPV, Money in the Bank and followed up on Raw. He even called Kofi Kingston "dreadlocks"

Hiroshi Tanahashi regains the IWGP Heavyweight championship from Kazuchika Okada at the Dominion 6.16 event making history tying the number of title reigns with previous champ Tatsumi Fujinami’s record.

The pair went on to produce yet another outstanding match at twenty-eight minutes and six seconds.

Tanahashi triumphant once again

Okada took the monumental win over Tanahashi being the first person to end his impressive reign of 404 days as champion at New Beginning on February 12^th this year.

Both Fujinami and Tanahashi have held the championship a record six times each.

NJPW founder, Antonio Inoki was the first champion to hold the gold when it was introduced in 1987, defeating Masa Saito.

Inoki has also been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, in the class of 2010.

TNA have revealed that Ric Flair has quit TNA Wrestling.

Both have had strained relationships over the past week and months building to it. Flair will now be freely granted back to WWE to head up the WWE Network project as part of the Legend/Hall of Fame stalwart.

It couldn't come at worse a time for TNA.

Last week on Thursday, TNA released Anthony Nese for asking permission to appear on an independant card with The Great Muta. (Click link here) - Breaking News: TNA release wrestler

Flair appeared and entered into the Hall of Fame, with his employing organisation's (TNA) consent.

Tensions are strained backstage between her father, Ric and TNA. Flair, also advertised as a judge in a Gut-Check Challenge for the May 15th tapings of Impact, alonsgide a further showing at the PPV, Sacrifice the previous Sunday, was the clear indication that both are on shaky ground.


Further details have emerged that Ric would leave TNA staff to pick up bar tabs, most recently on TNA's European tour, including that of Craig Jenkins, as well as being served for failing to repay a grant from ROH years ago when he realised they wouldn't use his son Reid on the show and stuck to WWE's 'no rival company appearance' rule.

Flair also has other lines of money making ventures including a lottery endorsement and energy drink. Flair still owes tons of dollars paying out his ex-wives, as well as tax evasion over the years.

Did Flair jump before he was pushed? Or did he secretly have other jobs lined up beforehand?

Rumour also has it that Alex Shelley has quit TNA too. This is still in early stages, and we shall keep updated on this also. WWE's Network are interested in him for its Cruiserwight show, which is about time they snap him up.

Overall, this decision among the firing of Nese earlier, and the hiring of Brooke Hogan makes TNA's wide spectrum of organisation dysfunctional and many view as delusional that they would freely remove certain talent rather than work out situations. Hey, all is not lost, TNA still have Hogan and Bischoff and all their offspring, so it can't be in a bad state, can it?

WWE have signed Ashley Fliehr Johnson, to a WWE developmental contract.

Ashley is the daughter of WWE Legend, and two time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair.

The Flair's have had no shortage of unwarranted media attention with the law, including their infamous family arrest.

Many see a Cody Rhodes and Ashley battle their fathers (Flair and Dusty) in a possible future angle.


Either way, Ashley needs to rely more on wrestling than just appearance i she is to survive the division.

In March, it was revealed that Vince McMahon was interested in re-signing Ric Flair to lead the WWE Network project, as McMahon felt Flair, in his late sixties, is over with the audience and would establish worth to the new project, which is in turbulent waters already. Brooke Bombshell!

All Knockouts bow down to me.

TNA have signed Brooke Hogan to a contract. President Dixie Carter stated - "Brooke is NOT going to be a wrestler ... but rather an executive who will be tasked to develop female talent."

At Twenty-four (24), yes, Twenty-four years of age, Brooke will be teaching the TNA Knockouts how to wrestle and develop. If you want someone to develop female talent it is clear you need Max Waltham for that. Regardless, many believe Brooke, who shant be wrestling at all, received this position in favour of her father being in charge of TNA wrestling, alongside family friend and lifetime pal, Eric Bishcoff.

Brooke's father is wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan.

Dixie also mentioned that "Brooke is such a great talent who's really sharp and will make a great addition to the TNA family."

Brooke's talent was in the field of singing and the music industry, (unrelated to wrestling) where her record deals did not come to fruition successfully.

Brooke has also recently starred in a movie, called two handed shark, which also features her co-star and lead in teh film, Carmen Electra, where fans will be pleased to know Carmen gets her breasts out, as usual.

Looks like Brooke may have to do a Playboy shoot in the near future, because she doesn't seem to have many options left.
