WWE TLC 2015

WWE TLC 2015

On from its worst ever PPV one month ago, namely Survivor Series, would TLC, with a spate of injured stars, with others on hiatus and lacklustre replacements be able to please the crowds and deliver wrestling entertainment as it should do? Live on Pay Per View, Sunday 13th December 2015 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts would the crowd receive a great pre-Christmas gift? Or would it be as uneventful and disappointing in recent months from WWE’s lack of creative direction?

Let’s find out…

WWE Tag Team Championship
Triple Threat, Ladder
Kofi Kingston and Big E w/ Xavier Woods Vs The Uso’s Vs Sin Cara and Kalisto

New Day entered with Kofi asking why Xavier Woods made no effort on his hairdo tonight. Woods said he would not waste it on the Boston crowd. Another cheap opening segment to try and get the crowd hot with New Day who are starting to dip as resident WWE stooges filling with overdone toilet humour that generates no real laugh.

The poo-cha Dragons, with Super Nintendo theme music entered, as the ignorant disdain of Kalisto and lumbered partner Sin Cara stumbled into a lacklustre moment which they did not deserve the spot of. They are only booked because WWE have failed to make any teams. The more they are used the more WWE’s ratings dip. Sin Cara needs to go solo or find a new pal.

The Uso’s also entered which all together took too long and bored than thrilled the start of the match. Not a great opener at all.

The start was useless with one of each team against one another as the rest scrambled for the ladders outside. It was a mess and no-one knew what to do. How green was that?

The glorified stuntmen doing all that “flippy sh*t” was the only repetitive moment the Lucha Dragons did. Was it really worth it just to be an ignorant spot monkey? This won’t boost ratings and use of such silly choices is bad news for WWE. Engage the brain.

New Day beat down The Uso’s in an uneventful and traditional run through of ‘one team in charge at the moment’ moment.

The little midget mask men had trouble lifting a ladder twice their size combined into the ring as Big E stretched it open for them. They did a flying spot again. How original. It was poorly utilised, too.

The Uso’s provided the entertainment with some skill as they rammed and beat into New Day using the ladders around the ring with dropkicks and body slams. The half size mini ladder was brought in. Unfortunately, Hornswoggle was recently released for failing wellness tests, allegedly. That was pointless, wasn’t it? Predictably the midget men in masks used it for another worthless flippy spot. World class, it was not.

The Uso’s quickly took charge of the match once more with New Day in hopes to retain some interest.

Kalisto tried to climb like a scrawny rat up the ladder as Xavier Woods threw the trombone into his back and Kofi Kingston smacked a seriously hard and good clothesline on Kalisto knocking him down wonderfully to the ground, but not hard enough. A powerbomb would have been excellent. Kofi Kingston and Big E retain the tag titles by way of Kofi Kingston. Seems WWE forget their own rules. In tag team ladders in WWE’s past, the rules were that both stars must grab the belts. WWE will always change its rules without any creative thought, once again adding a question mark on the sheer legitimacy of such a battle. The match was a comedy of errors which failed to ignite.

Ryback Vs Rusev w/ Lana

Really? What rubbish is this? Well, Rusev and Lana, as we predicted, reunited. WWE however are seriously annoyed that the pair’s engagement leaked online, yet WWE like to leak their stories to the very outlet it attempts to get some cheap headiness from. Rich. Perhaps be less nave, then, WWE? Doesn’t do you any favours, does it? Because of this, the pair are not honourable yet. Ryback keeps bumping into Lana at ringside matches and this is how the feud was built. Genius.

Lana now looks like a Polish milkmaid which seems to have lost some of her magic.

Unfortunately it is the second match, so it’s difficult not to go to the toilet just yet.

The Hungry Hippo Ryback charged at Rusev outside the ring early to start some buzz, which lacked when instantly back in the ring. He took cheap breather spots early, did wimpish moves with no force and did not barely even sell touches on his opponent. What a liability. Rusev soon took over and had his moment with very good strength and believable moments.

Ryback thought he bumped Lana, who faked being hurt when he was nearby on the outside so Rusev could capitalise. After a standard play, back and forth Rusev won by crushing the Accolade on Ryback for an empty win. The glorious couple tenderly kissed in congratulations.

United States Championship
Chair
Jack Swagger Vs Alberto Del Rio (c)

WWE’s resident dope smoking cannabis lover Jack Swagger against the pride of American, Mexican racist Alberto Del Rio as its champion no less. A jobber against a jobber. How did it get to this? Answer? WWE were desperate and short-sighted to go for anything they could get their hands on. In times of strife WWE fall back on the same age old choices than think of new options. Ratings down are they? This won’t increase them, dear.

None of them are interesting and the match was poorly produced. The chair was used sparingly then overused for cheap effects that sold no one, no title linage and a bland match up meant to be of finer ‘stuff’.  The pair of them looked tired within minutes.

Rio’s chair slams were as weak and tender taps as they come. It was not exciting. Rio postured for much of the match as he waited for Swagger to rise, only to knock the pair of them down again to waste more time of the PPV by doing nothing of eventful memory. It was that forgettable.

The pair are way out of their depth and WWE with it, by the looks of it. If this is the best they can come up with, what does it say about the future of the titles, WWE as entertainment and the lacklustre ‘stars’ involved?

The racist, ignorant Rio flung many chairs at Swagger outside to fill time which made no sense to cover him in the ring after. Rio failed to sell an arm bash into the turnbuckle in a show of useless disrespect to his opponent. Swagger locked Rio’s leg into a chair for a Leg Lock which looked unbelievable. No, not mesmeric, just unconvincing lunacy.

Rio swirled his arm around on the top of the turnbuckle to tell Swagger to twirl him on a grab which was so publically visible he did even try to hide it. It was ridiculously shameful to call a spot so publicly. Fans are not that stupid.

Useless spots, lack of good transitions and daft opportunities missed did not sell this as exceptional. WWE continue to pick the wrong people. Alberto Del Rio retained after dropping a turnbuckle stomp on Jack Swagger in a cheap and pointless win from nowhere. What a waste of twenty minutes. A foot stomp. Ground-breaking. Relieve Rio of the title and drop Swagger from the program. There are many on the roster capable and waiting.

8 Man Tag Team
Elimination, Tables
Bubba Ray Dudley, D’von Dudley, Rhyno and Tommy Dreamer Vs Bray Waytt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman

So this is why WWE rehired The Dudley Boys? The homophobic Bubba Ray back just for a gimmick match with Tables? How sad. By the way, you do know this isn’t and will never be ECW again? WWECW events never work out. WWECW December PPV anyone?

Whoever is booking this show, it’s clear the TNA rejects of the past year make WWE look inferior and worse than TNA ever could right now. Living out such lost youth is always a joy, right?

The Dudley’s have also painted the names of each Wyatt onto a corresponding table. How original. The ECW originals brought their own tables to the match in the weakest carry on yet. Oooh, this is sooo Hardcore. The snooze fest beckons.

In this one, everyone is in the ring together but WWE neglected to mention it was a TORNADO tag. False advertising right there. Tag means they have to be tagged in. Derrrr!

All were beat down outside as Strowman smashed a trashcan on Dreamer. Well that was quick, only 30 seconds in. Strowman continued in the ring against Blubber Ray, who continued his lazy working tonight. After all the gang attacked, Erick Rowan got caught first and was easily eliminated not five minutes in. We’ve forgotten him already.

Rhino was eliminated after. Yeah, whatever.

Both the Dudley’s ripped off the Legion of Doom’s top rope Doomsday manoeuvre on Luke Harper. Classy. It was tacky.

As D’von sets a table Bray sits up in the crazy crab to slam D’von Dudley through the table to be eliminated.

Kendo sticks stupidities from Bubba tapping Braun like crazy everywhere looked plain ridiculous and highly uncoordinated. It was lazy, childish and unprofessional.

Luke Harper charged at Tommy Dreamer who was put through a table outside at ringside, in a pre-stacked side table. What was the point?

Bubba Ray lazily looks under the ring for some lighter fluid to set a table on fire in the ring. How exciting. Harper superkicked Bubba Ray Dudley as Braun Strowman slammed Bubba Ray through the table to win alongside Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and eliminated Erick Rowan in a forgettable match that even with a win, did absolutely nothing for the Wyatt’s or WWE. That’s what happened with nostalgic, lazy competition. Bubba failed to carry out the spot and got put through the table too early. That’s called a f**k up.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Dean Ambrose Vs Kevin Owens (c)

Lazy stroll on to fart music comes the highly ignorant bowling ball with legs Kevin Owens. Nothing ever changes. Idle work. Ignorant piece of trash. WWE ratings nosedive. Learn.

Owens claimed that Ambrose had never achieved anything in his career just like the Boston natives and sportsmen elsewhere. The man who has never done a thing in WWE and continues to mouth off without any skill for a match entry. No-one bought that yarn.

“I drink popcorn and soda every day of my life.” Owens rambled. He claimed others were “delusional.” The one man who is actually deluded. It was weak, lazy and thoughtless.

Ambrose was tasked with trying to get the bumbling bowling ball with legs over on a second PPV running, back to back, which was a huge waste of his talents. Owens did some foot stomps as his main move to beat down Ambrose. He shouted and stomped him all over the ring before taking rest spots and predictable choke holds. There was no pressure applied and his reactions were poor.

The ignorance of the highest order, trash talker Owens stood and held his arms open and yelled as he has done in every match. Repetitive, uneventful and nothing original. A sign of someone who won’t ever make it if he still hasn’t now even with Triple H favouritism being GIVEN every title and doing absolutely nothing with it. It makes WWE look insanely weak and pathetic as a result. Is this the best they have? Ratings down are they? Will you ever learn? You are owed many receipts. Expect them. And you will accept them.

Owens did the same ‘run and dump’ his tubby buttocks on Ambrose but Dean got the knees up to halt the hefty hog. It did not look good. It was the same old routine from Owens that still fails to encapsulate fans. This is not the indies, dipsh*t.

Ambrose finally got a move in with an elbow drop grab into a pinfall for two. Ambrose continued to look like a fool. He stood still for many a time to sell for the overstenched Owens. Ambrose climbed with Owens on the top turnbuckle as Owens once again sat on the perch and did nothing as Ambrose sat himself on top of Owens so he could flip him. Once again Kevin Owens does nothing himself and is a complete shame to his opponents.

Ambrose quickly nailed the Dirty Deeds as Kevin Owens manages to stretch one finger to the bottom rope. Aww, poor lad. That the best way Owens can survive? How sad. Thoroughly impressive WWE.

Dean Ambrose rolled through Kevin Owens in a counter of the powerbomb pin to grab a cheesy pinfall for three and become the new Intercontinental Champion, still managing to look entirely worthless even in a career defining moment.

Oh, and Kevin Owens botched his elbow on the mat again! Completely useless.  Ambrose’s win is illegitimate. Is there nothing Owens can’t do which completely harms all of its other stars?

Next!

WWE Divas Championship
Charlotte (c) Vs Paige

Is this still going on? Charlotte continued to use being Ric Flair’s daughter as her championship credentials once again. The ignorant trash bag Ric Flair could not resist getting in an angle either to build this poor battle, way overdue two PPV’s ago.

Ignorance of the highest order, Paige entered to the ring in a poor walk that exuded no qualities of stardom. Last month to build their feud further the pair agreed to use Charlotte’s dead brother Reid Fliehr as a chance to get over, which turned many fans off in a sickening display of bad taste misusing the dead. Tonight, her daddy Ric Flair joins her at ringside. Charlotte has yet once been able to wrestle nor prove herself outside of Ric Flair’s shadow. She remains a lucky sperm club entry only.

Charlotte decided to mimic her father with the drop down, pretend to be hurt moment. For someone who has yet to be anything, now she’s gone full on carbon copy. How sad for her. She’ll never amount to anything with her ignorant daddy, who loves to talk.

Charlotte hits three knees to Paige’s face which never even connects and highly visible botches to the audience. It was plain shameful. How this supposed woman is champion is amazing. WWE desperately tried to make her succeed as Flair’s girl and failed dismally. Yet Paige rolling around on the ground as a liability in the ring is no viable competition either. WWE continues to neglect its divas, which of many it has in the back ready to prove themselves.

The pair screamed and held one another in body zapping locks which were boring and time consuming nonsense. The pair’s cheap and useless interactions lightly tapping and missing each other were a joke. Paige put on a Figure four Leg Lock, making it all about Ric Flair and missing the point about the divas. Some revolution. Charlotte’s forced screaming on impact was plain absurd and not at all convincing. It looked plain stupid.

Paige nailed a DDT as Ric Flair cheated and put Charlotte’s feet on the rope. Classic. Not one of them is over and no one wants either to win. Charlotte smashed Paige’s face beautifully hard into the turnbuckle pad to retain the title in a cheap win that meant absolutely nothing. Ric Flair strutted in celebration with Char-lie. How desperate for air time can you get? Charlotte will never get over.

After the match, after toying with the dark side for a couple of months, Charlotte met with Beck Lynch backstage as Charlotte was mildly offish to Beck. It could do with new challengers, that’s for sure.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Tables, Ladders and Chairs
Sheamus (c) Vs Roman Reigns

Reigns was given the Daniel Bryan treatment as a five minutes, fifteen seconds transitional champion after he finally got over with the crowd three weeks ago. Fresh from his title cheap victory, struggling champion Sheamus, who cannot get over at all, defended in a predictably boring rematch. WWE’s roster is a little low, but that was no excuse. They had this planed a year and a half ago in advance for Sheamus as champion. Sheamus, the real life friend of Triple H, was given the title by his pal, with a place as The Authority frontman, too.

We want Cena / Cena sucks chants were predictably heard from the hometown hero’s Boston crowd only because these two involved were so terrible and fans saw an opportunity to go into business for themselves. New opportunities are needed but this, Cena or Sheamus are not it.

The match was standard filler capable of being an opening PPV match which went back and forth with useless spots and barely no use of the items until later. Even then there was no thrill and the pair looked lost. There was literally nothing to comment on and was such a drab inclusion, as the main event, no less, it was the worst main event WWE has put on for centuries.

Rusev and Rio help Sheamus, who have joined him in a stable group called League of Nations, a direct rip off from the 1940’s political faction set up to restore peace and balance. WWE TV does not need this level of lunacy convoluting the product. The idea and the stablemates, which include Wade Barrett as National representatives, is plain pathetic.

Sheamus gets a spot at the top of the ladder. Reigns pulls him down. A Brogue Kick from Sheamus follows from nowhere. Reigns was knocked outside. Sheamus slowly clambers up the steel ladder as fans boo in disappointment. Reigns arrives back in somehow but Sheamus grabs the title quickly before Roman Reigns can reach him in the most lacklustre ladder title defence victory ever to snare the World Heavyweight Championship in another cheaply, unfulfilling win.

Spear by Reigns.

Chair jabs.

Triple H and Steph arrive.

Superman punch on was delivered on Triple H who kept getting battered by Roman Reigns. Reigns continued destroying him at ringside through the announce tables as Stephanie screamed for her beaten husband, pleading with Roman to stop.

Worst PPV ever. Who thought it could get worse than last month’s Survivor Series which scored a paltry 2/10.

Put on table, but Tripper failed to break it. Stephanie begs Roman. He gets up top on the other table to jump down on Triple H, sending him through the table. Another spear.

PPV Rating – 1/10

Men/Women of their matches –  Kofi Kingston, Rusev, Jack Swagger, Luke Harper, Dean Ambrose, (Just like Survivor Series, both divas were again inadequate), Roman Reigns

Man/Woman of the PPV – Triple H

Pre Show
Becky Lynch Vs Sasha Banks w/ Tamina and Naomi

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, two gals the audience wanted to see on PPV for the title, were tasked with warming up the crowd on the pre-show. Becky Lynch lost to tap out, the Bank Statement by Sasha Banks in a decent but meaningless battle.

How WWE can honestly think their title scene can encourage fans with a mild challenger not fit to be champion and an unbelievable mess as a limp addition on technicalities and plus ones will help. The scene is all over the place, lacks structure, creative direction and no skillset befitting to the said title. This is meant to be the most prestigious in the company, is it not? Not to mention WWE dumped Roman off the top spot the moment he, while in doubt, proved he heard it last month at survivor Series against Dean Ambrose in a well laced together match up. Sheamus won’t ever get over and the best thing WWE can do is find a replacement asap. How hilarious was it that only Triple H was the one who stood out the most? Brock Lesnar is not adequate and WWE really need to find what can help them, but the problem is they have no one around them to tell them who is capable.  Get calling.

Ignorance played its part in the PPV tonight and cost WWE dear. Ignorance is not a virtue and when it comes to it, all end up exposed as worse than what they were thought to be in terms of ‘skill’ on show.

The tag team titles were a joke and WWE presented them as such. Ignorance and unbelievable stars did not enhance the show, the match or the title worth. A useless match that had nothing to show for it.

Further ignorance on both sides harmed WWE further with the divas. Both cannot wrestler, entertain nor perform and were so messy for three months running why WWE thought a long term feud would help them was plain idiotic. WWE wanted to present their choices and not fans. Have the fans left the show yet? They did so months ago, dear. You still wouldn’t listen, would you? Are you still going to mess things up? You are owed three months of receipts. (As well as 3 years.) The surface is bubbling. Leniency has been taken for granted, and fans have not been accommodating any longer.

A wasteful, lazy ‘man’ over the hill and adding nothing to product continues to pollute the waters of WWE’s mid title scene. GIVEN all his titles, failed to wrestle and lack of skills has proven, despite WWE continuing to go against the grain of crucial advice, that Kevin Owens is entirely futile. Ignorance of the highest order cannot exceed expectations and if he has already had such high accolades given to him and failed every one, in just over three months, WWE clearly isn’t the place for him. The longer he stays on WWE TV and the roster, the more WWE is seriously about to suffer long-term. They were warned, they didn’t listen. The results are clear. He needs to be sacked and demoted imminently. Dean Ambrose looked like a complete fool and even as champion, is likely to be cursed by typecast as a result. Well done WWE. Carrying a loser who cannot materialise at all won’t benefit long-term goals.

The Wyatt’s won. Who cares? They were in another wasted match that saw the group lose more than they win every time. They are of no value to anyone at this point. The magic is lost.

Of all the opponents to choose WWE picked another wasted chancer in Jack Swagger. Why a feud with the racist Del Rio for filling the time on cards is just sad and does nothing for WWE as a company. Rio should never have been allowed to return and WWE were a desperate that it is more than apparent in the results. They got rid of Hulk Hogan to get Del Rio instead? What a brainless move. Do WWE not realise how many problems it creates for itself in trying to clean up its act only to become the most dirtiest piece of muck once again? Think long and hard instead of being stubborn and childish. It has not worked, and won’t do ever again.

Rusev won a match. What’s his role? Who cares? What is all this tosh? So what? It was pointless and futile. A waste of such talents and WWE can’t figure out why it has such weak performers on its roster and hires ignorant ones waiting in the wings ready to destroy WWE’s reputation tenfold. All for stubborn opinion and showing off? Very clever…

Is that truly the best way to run a business?

TLC 2015 was WWE’s worst ever PPV for so long. We have never given a 1/10 for any PPV. There’s a first time for everything.

If WWE still can’t figure out who, what and where their diamond in the rough is to fix its company, help support as it has been for the past 4 years and made good on everything the company needed, then they are in serious problems coming should they fail to succeed on it. Whether they like it or not, WWE are going further toward the slope. No amount of money can save you. Can you truly do what is best for business and prove your legacy can survive the test of time? The one thing WWE truly wants is someone invests tenfold in the product with the mind and skill to succeed for it. When it is truly available, which comes along one in a lifetime, they refuse. You clearly know what you get will be good for all involved. Why would you willingly destroy everything you have over some random moment of tentative frown? Be mature. Think about what’s needed and achieve. Or else fail that and rip your company to shreds from within. The fans are not sticking around any longer. There is nothing to show for it.
