TNA British Bootcamp Australia

TNA British Bootcamp Australia

TNA British Bootcamp is set to air on FeulTV this Thursday 18th April 2013. The series filmed and screened months earlier will feature a ground-breaking four hopefuls from the British scene who hope to win a TNA contract on offer to one person.

The show features a record three contenders featuring novice teachers The Blossom Twins, the abhorrent Marty Scurll and winner Rockstar Spud.

Hannah and Holly Blossom also gained contracts despite TNA stating only one contract was on offer in a pre-determinded angle to hire mass amounts of performers. Spud comes in at a glorious 5 foot 3, while sexual deviant Scurll gallivanted with one of the twins in a romance, then cheated with another girl. The string bean lothario even asked Dixie Carter for sex calling her a “MILF” an abbreviation for a Mother I’d Like to F**k. Scurll, had also been involved in a real life sex scandal on the front page of a national newspaper of which he bragged about with thirty other bodies after the lonesome degenerate appeared on a TV dating show.

Adolescent drunkard Scurll
The action began with Spud and Scurll constructed a feeble made up fight in a limo after drinks, over who had the most twitter followers. Both had purposely begun a made up feud on the British scene to get a place on the show. Both are friends again now.

Flabbergasted Scurll with his partner.

One spring short of an onion
All four wrestled on TNA impact tour in January 2013 where the Blossoms and Scurll teamed in a match with Jessie Godderz, now Jesse, Tara and Gail Kim. In which ‘Britain’s best’ Scurll mistimed and launched himself over the guard barrier showcasing his inept qualities and immature botches unvaluable to any business. You can view it on our YouTube channel here - Wrestling Wonders on YouTubeYou can see the amazing dive a 2.50.

MILF. Dixie Carter.

Winner of TNA’s British Bootcamp crowned

Rockstar Spud gains
TNA contract

On the 22nd January 2013 broadcast of the TV show British Bootcamp, 5 foot 3 superstar Rockstar Spud won the show and received a TNA contract from aging wrestler Hulk Hogan and TNA President Dixie Carter.

Spud beat competition in the series against loser Marty Scurll and The Blossom Twins.

Soon to be thirty year old, next Wednesday, Spud, real name James Curtin, said of his victory "This is the greatest moment of my life. I can finally tell my parents that I'm not a failure, this isn't a dream, this is my job, this is what I do." Over the course of 2012 Spud won 7 of 28 Matches.

Spud was most known for his loss against a reality contestant Billi Bhatti, from UK TV’s Big Brother show in August 2006, where the rookie dropped the Rocker in his debut match. Bhatti has moved on to a career in pornographic material since. Curtin has also appeared in ‘Snog, Marry, Avoid’ in which ugly looking people get transformed into a ‘natural beauty.’ He has an upcoming cameo in short film “Light the Lights” featuring run down son and Z list celeb, of a football legend's fame, Callum Best. Spud will play a clown.

Sweet Tarts, The Blossom Twins
During the episodes, all six of them, at thirty minutes long, of the three contestants, Spud was instantly involved in a fight in the limousine with adolescent Marty Scurll, 24, which the pair have a faked ongoing rivalry to make the show. Scurll began the fight over how many twitter followers both have. Spud almost decked the juvenile taunter, whose pithy excuse were girls being present to sit back after igniting the fire. They were soon warned of their unprofessional conduct. Scurll continued mocking Spud with his wrestling in the ring throughout the series.

During the series, lothario Scurll, who has been involved in mass orgies on the front of newspapers with reality contestants for a dating show, Take Me Out, featuring thirty females and a bundle of desperate guys aiming to be selected participated, on its second series. Scurll soon moved on to one of the female contestants in British Bootcamp, Hannah Blossom. After tonguing the face off Blossom in an odious manner, Scurll was seen kissing another female just moments later. Scurll previously added insult to the company stating he “ wasn't sure what TNA Bootcamp is.”

With "My Baaaaabe" Georgie Ross from Take Me Out
Chauvinist Scurll also publically stated that he would love to have sex with his boss, Dixie Carter in another childish retort. TNA officials later confronted the boyish blunder on the issue. He showed no remorse for his comments.

Teaching assistants to primary children, The Blossom Twins, 24, were classed by audience members as “a right pair of slappers” which clearly ruined their chances as well as not showing much personality as background characters. The twins bring cupcakes to the ring with them.

Carter, along with Hogan, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy giving evaluations of the hopefuls, announced Spud the winner adding the others had “one more opportunity” promoting twitter and impact fans to respond, “Knew it was faked all along so they could get everyone on the roster” as another added “This is mindless, Carter can’t run TNA with a paper bag on” whilst one more mentioned “Load of bulls**t, only one was supposed to win. Ridiculous. Such a farce.”

The series was edited by Jeremy Borash which viewers disliked as a media show off, The Only Way Is Essex/Jersey Shore set up style which was highly tainted and unprofessional. World of Sport veteran Rollerball Rocco was the trainer of the series as was Hulk Hogan overseeing proceedings.

The Result?

Spud showed the most levels of intensity and charisma, the Blossom’s didn’t bloom and were forgotten characters, whilst unfocused personally. Scurll was once again the juvenile, adolescent alcohol guzzling; schmoozing creep letching on any females around with no actual style, skill or proof of a star many understand is the “Zack Ryder jobber of the UK Wrestling scene.” Scurll is still studying unrelated subjects not involved with wrestling as a “back up career” if his minimal wrestling skills fail to impress, as he admitted on his dating show appearance last year. Scurll is only interested in gathering headlines in media and chasing females for sex, which is highly unprofessional to any organisation.

Ha-latta-putta-putta-he-a-macarena...
Of the three, Spud was the most valuable and has an opportunity to reform the ailing X-Division or tag team area. Many feel it won’t be long before he leaves the company within a year timespan.

TNA plan to use all four on the ‘Road to Lockdown’ tour over the 26th Jan 2013 period.

Many workers on the British scene were ultimately annoyed how three weaklings were selected over them. The response is clear; TNA did not scout any of the Brit scene and can’t figure out how to find real stars. One superstar felt he clearly deserved a place over some of the males. He plans to retire in 2013 as a result.

TNA's British Boot Camp: Valid or a disaster in the making?

TNA's British Boot Camp:
Valid or a disaster in the making?

Spud and his entourage

British Boot Camp is a mini series, which TNA Wrestling have initiated in order to find some British ‘talent.’ The show, featuring a record four contenders, including 'Rockstar' Spud, the Blossom Twins (Hannah and Holly) and the odious Marty Scurll aims to find a victor, then rewarded with a TNA contract and place on the UK TNA tour in January 2013. The show is due to air in December this year on TV gaming show station, Challenge in the UK.

Scurll and Spud, who had both pretended to have a real life feud before the show was announced to create tension and gain brief exposure to their lesser names in pro wrestling, have also featured on tasteless reality shows. Spud appeared on “Snog, Marry, Avoid” a show which takes horrific looking people and gives them a “make under” to become a natural beauty. Scurll on the other hand was so desperate for any attention he chose to apply for a dating show.

The desperate 24 yr old, from Ely, Cambridgeshire, who uses media attention to gain attraction only to abuse those who launch his platform, featured on the show, Take Me Out, to gain a date with loose ladies, infamous for staging sex orgies, of which Scurll, one of near 40 people was involved. Media whore Scurll was caught on the front page participating in the orgy being straddled by a female who didn’t pick him for a date. Another male was seen cheering him on nearby as others watched.

Scurll, participating in a mass orgy

Trashed mansion

Boozy Scurll, who also admitted on the show he is 'back to school' studying for a degree at college, in case wrestling doesn't work out as his ‘back up plan’ was also expelled  from WxW in Germany last year after causing fights with other members of the roster. His date of the show didn't wish to continue seeing the failed cruiserweight, caught leaving their hotel room after a saucy all-night collaboration.

String bean Scurll

Scurll, who has often had naked fights in McDonalds restaurants with his partner Zack Sabre Jr furthers immaturity and ungracious dignity. Scurll happens to be best friends with TNA superstar Magnus, many assume has tried to ‘sneak him in the back door’. Martin also mentioned recently “I’m not sure what TNA bootcamp is.”

During filming, near two weeks ago, underachiever Scurll expressed his problems maintaining the process of schedule, claiming it was “the most stressful day ever.”

Blossom Twins Hannah and Holly

With TNA’s knockout division at an all-time sufferable low, if they have sense they will offer the Blossom’s a contract. TNA needs reliability and those able to hack it. The Twins often hand out cupcakes when approaching the ring. Not exactly Jeff Jarrett’s taco’s, though all the same, with beauties and food, what more do you need? The Blossoms, who add a unique trait, could benefit the company. Scurll and Spud will continue their fictional feud for mainstream attention once TNA parts ways. Would it be a valid investment by TNA to employ washed up, struggling Indy talent unable to get over? Or take unique acquisitions that benefit one and all?

Trainer, Hogan

All four contestants will be trained by supreme wrestler Hulk Hogan and Rollerball Rocco.

On September 30th, minor Indy promotion PROGRESS Wrestling kicked off with Jeremy Bore-rash introducing the TNA British boot camp with a preview to warm its crowd of ‘fans’ from a derelict garage in London.

Interview: Marty Scurll (Exclusive to WW)

In an Online Interview, conducted on the 10th December 2011, poising 21 questions, leading British Wrestler, Marty Scurll talks exclusively to Max Waltham regarding wrestling in Germany, the British Wrestling scene, WWE, and having Max Waltham's babies...

1) You were recently suspended by Wrestling promotion wXw, based in Germany, after being seen having an altercation backstage with a fellow wrestler. For presumably filming a backstage video, or was there something more beneath that towards your release. Can you tell us what happened with that?

I was suspended for the December show, True Colours. I was basically punished because I threw a shot at Absolute Andy, who had been talking trash about myself and Zack, along with his buddy Bad Bones. I'd always got on with the pair before fairly well so I don't know why they've been talking crap about us, I guess jealousy must be the case. The video explains much more than I can say anyway.

2) Who was the other wrestler in question?

Bad Bones and Absolute Andy, who are good wrestlers so its a shame they've got a problem with us.

3) For those unaware, can you tell us a little about your experiences with that promotion?

wXw have been great to me, I consider them my home promotion, along with IPW:UK here in England. They brought me to the States, given me the opportunity to work with some fantastic talents and given me the chance to shine and be one of their top stars. I consider the promoters (Felix, Tas & Jakobi) to be close friends now, and would not want to upset them in anyway, so it was a shame that the fight with Bones/Andy had to happen, but that's life hey.

4) For many who do follow you, we’ve often seen you notoriously perform on the British wrestling scene. How do you feel about wrestling in Britain?

It has some great talents and some fantastic promotions, and has as healthy independent scene than anywhere else in the world, but unfortunitly it is just that, indy wrestling, and obviously not a place you can make big money.

5) How do you think the market is today, or ways in which it could develop?

At the moment, most run it as a hobby, I think it will only be able to grow if someone is able to concentrate on it as a full time thing. Just my personal thought.

6) How does the independent circuit differ from British homeland?

Like I said before I think the UK Indy scene is pretty healthy in terms of Indy scenes, and the same in Europe and USA, you get some great Indy promotions, and some not so great groups too. It can be a mixed bag!

7) Do you enjoy it?

Of course!

8) You’ve been seen participating in other promotion shows including Dragon’s Gate. How do you feel about being a part of those shows, and what is it like doing them?

Those Dragon Gate shows are on another level, its a privilege to be a part of them. Hands down the best wrestling shows to take place in the UK. Need I say more?

9) Is it a different feel to anything else you’ve ever done?

Without doubt, the standard of talent is just so high. When your in there with the likes of Cima, Doi, Tozawa etc your in there with some of the best in the world, and you've really got to bring your up game. Love every second of it.

10) Where did you learn to create your craft, and realise you had the gift to wrestle?

I originally learned at the Dropkixx Wrestling Academy by Tony Scarlo and others, and then mainly learned my craft through spot shows and holiday camp circuits. The camps were a good place to learn as the people are not wrestling fans, they dont know what's right and what's wrong, and it also teaches you to be a show-man. Not forgetting wrestling every day, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Thats a good way to learn.

11) Zack and yourself have a strong partnership. How did you guys meet and become friends?

Zack's the man. We met probably about 6 years ago and struck it off due to being similar ages, similar humour and we both had similar ideas and concepts for what wrestling should be. Truly one of my friends for life.

Along with Zack, Marty knows how to submit his foes

12) Who, apart form yourself and Zack, do you feel is of interest in the industry and why?

Right now? lets see in WWE I'd say Ziggler and Punk, both putting on some tremendous bouts and have really got people talking. In Japan, I'd say Tozawa, Prince Devitt and Pac. And here in Europe? Big Van Walter has had a absolute fantastic year, I'll think he'll do great things in 2012. Theres lots of other guys too, El Generico for one.

13) What is your most memorable/favourite match?

I really enjoyed my match with Tozawa at this years Dragon Gate vs UK show, I got a lot of good feedback from fans and reviews, and just felt really good when I was doing it too. Another two matches would be myself & Zack vs Adam Cole & Kyle O'Riley at this years 16 Carat Gold Tournament in Germany, the crowd were just insane that night - likewise when me and Zack defeated The Thrillers back in May 2009 for the IPW:UK Tag belts, a very fond memory.

14) Of any other match not involving yourself, which would stand out?

Favourite matches? I always loved the 3 way world title match at Wrestlemania 20, thought it was just fantastic. Eddie vs Brock comes to mind to.

15) Would you be interested in working on the Japanese circuit in Japan?

Defiantly. That would be a dream come true.

16) I also have to ask you, what are your thoughts on Prince Devitt. Personally, I would be interested to see a match there. Is that something you would consider? Maybe Max Waltham could be in your corner.

Fergal is a great guy and a phenomenal talent. I'd love to hook horns with him. He'd be a tough competitor, so maybe I would need someone in my corner!

17) What does the future hold for Marty Scurll?

Bright lights baby! Im hoping to continue working hard and making a name for myself, and make sure I leave my mark on this great business of Pro Wrestling.

18) Could you ever see yourself working for WWE?

Thats ultimately where I would love to go, its been my dream since I was a small child. Certainly my main goal.

19) And of TNA?

I like TNA, and I have some great friends who work there in Magnus & Mark Haskins. Magnus has been like a big brother to me for years now, and I miss him a lot now he lives in the states, so it would be great to be re-united with him in a full time capacity!

20) What do you think of Max Waltham and Wrestling Wonders?

I would like my children to grow up to be just like him!

21) What would you like to say to your fans?

Thank you so much for your support, I truly feel privileged to be able to say that I have 'fans'. Thanks for all that have taken the time to support me, give me nice comments and in some cases, presents. Hell, even starting a 'Party Marty' chant, you'll never know how much it means! One quick shill, follow me on Twitter - @PartyMartyS , many thanks!

You can follow Marty on Twitter - @PartyMartyS , he'll appreciate your support, give him a follow. And one thing, don't call him ScRull. It's S-C-U-R-L-L. x

Max would like to thank Marty for the time taken and given to Wrestling Wonders, and question 20 made our day! (If I could, I would) X
