WWE Night of Champions 2015

WWE Night of Champions came live on Sunday 21st September from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Would the event be able to interest beyond random encounters of no meaning or would it be an ignorantly filled game of lackluster promotion?

Intercontinental Championship
Ryback (c) Vs Kevin Owens

As if it couldn’t get any worse than last PPV’s Triple Threat, in strolls the human bowling ball with legs, Kevin Owens, in his t-shirt, bumbling along as a non-entity. He has been launched into a title match after losing all his previous engagements by way of Triple H favouritism. That’s the new age WWE under Triple H. No skill or talent required. That is no way to book a professional promotion. Triple H’s ego is on the line. Dabbling with such ignorance is as damaging as it comes.

On the flip side is the equally useless Ryback, who has done nothing for the cursed IC title and has had no ground-breaking interactions with it, let alone get over with the crowds. He’s there for size proportions only.

When the pair weren’t busy entering weak and tacky exchanges, and slow breathing spot moments or talking to the crowd, the action was loosely filled. Ever ignorant Owens continues to do absolutely nothing in the ring and both are complete liabilities that almost injure their partners. Cesaro (Off the card thanks to Owens injuring his on a previous Raw in a rookie mistake) further proved Owens lacking credibility tonight. Sloppy, useless and ignorant both, especially Owens need to be sacked and removed off television immediately. It can only get worse for WWE, for hosting such drivel entertainment. 

Owens again walked out like an extra on set, to music sounding like a fart. Owens rolled around on the floor instantly when Ryback pushed him, then got a cheap moment to be in charge. Ryback had a decent moment when he dumped the lumbering mess that is Owens over the top rope. Owens changed with a hand drop on the rope to Ryback as he went to go in the ring. Tacky at its finest to gain advantage. Such a wrestler, huh? Owens played around on the floor with Ryback, who loudly yelled "Referee my elbow" causing huge concern, who just returned from injury a month ago. Owens was doing nothing except breather moments and slow walking around the ring to string time out. There was no skill involved. Kevin Owens dropped down from Ryback on his shoulders to use an eye poke and a small package roll up to win the Intercontinental Championship. 

Dolph Ziggler Vs Rusev w/ Summer Rae

Some white bits. Is it natural blonde? 

Lana has been injured for a good spell, leaving Ziggler on his lonesome. Ziggles, who came back way too quickly, rushed a Summerslam, which was non-effective has been embroiled in a scandal with Summer Rae. WWE played the sex card with the two as Rae was seen leaving Ziggler’s dressing room on Raw week’s back. WWE are still continuing this poor storyline. She claims Dolph came onto her. No-one really cares. Dolph gave Summer a gift of some earrings. She's wearing them this evening.

The action however, was non-eventful and boring once again. The pair tried to stand out but were both forgettable and involved in such a pitiful story than makes no sense that the fans cannot endorse such rubbish. It’s the same old booking and same old run through. Rusev tried to impress but again, was forgettable. Fans loudly cheered "We want Lana!" That, is the signal of this match. Not there and still the premise. Flawed. Dolph Ziggler won after Summer Rae threw a shoe at Rusev by accident. 

Tag Team Championship

The New Day, Kofi Kingston and Big E (c) w/ Xavier Woods Vs The Dudley Boyz, Bubba Ray and D’von

The tag titles were on the line in one of the poorest built up tag matches in recent memory. After a surprise return two weeks ago, The Dudleys, who strolled on to the show like extras, with the homophobic Bubba Ray and only there for racism dilution D’von, were not an answer to reforming the tag team division. WWE only hired them back for a cheap thrill and bragging rights. They shouldn’t have bothered with these old hat, washed up parts of the past, that will not create any future.

Bubba Ray, who had numerous claims of working stiff from many WWE stars past and present, proved that tonight once again with his blockade of uselessness against his opponents was as selfish as it comes. Not one member of New Day was able to get over, which is not the sign of a true in-ring professional. D’von like the rest of the black folk, in Texas, which is highly anti-blacks, were spare parts in for a world of victimisation. Darren Young wasn’t booked tonight, either. Be A Star! “Hulk Hogan, we comin’ for you …..!” Praise be to WWE, right?

WWE offered another screwy finish as The Dudleys got a cheap 3D move on Kofi Kingston as Xavier Woods saved the match for the team and Big E, causing a disqualification. The Dudley Boyz won but New Day retain the gold. Afterwards the New Day set up a table, to which Xavier Woods got slammed into instead. It was a moment, wasn't it? Zzzzz...

WWE Diva’s Championship

Nikki Bella (c) w/ Alicia Fox and Brie Vella Vs Charlotte w/ Paige and Becky Lynch

Nikki Bella has become the longest reigning divas champion in WWE history. She has toppled AJ Lee’s title reign by the hands of WWE booking in a desperation attempt to scribble her name from its record books at the top. AJ was considered the best WWE diva in modern women’s wrestling. Nikki Bella is seen as a talentless piece of skirt who is only famous for sleeping with WWE golden boy John Cena. Good ol’ WWE. The pre-Raw saw Brie Bella enter the match and lose in a secret switch to help Nikki. Charlotte was not granted the victory as Bella maintained the clear win.

Her so called competition tonight is the ever green useless call up Charlotte. Someone using her daddy’s fame to become relevant. All she can ever do is literally “Woo!” for some attention. Some breakthrough. Charlotte who cannot wrestle and has been exposed on her call up from the NXT playpen has nothing to her empty shell.

Nikki can now lose by disqualification. Charlotte enters with a loose arms open and stands there on entry with Team PCB extras. Even a remix of her daddy's music can't help. Nikki Bella actually received cheers among some boos. That should tell you more than enough as WWE tried to trick the audience in Texas to cheer its favourite selections. Laughable. 

Charlotte took a long time standing on the outside after the initial skirmish. She looked completely lost and in the ring on entry stood there again and slowed the action. Bella then flipped a suplex as Charlotte whacked her leg on the bottom rope to claim injury pain. That was Charlotte's grand contribution not two minutes in. Exceptional. She then lied on the apron outside for long enough. Nikki worked over the leg of her opponent who yelled a lot with embarrassingly whiny sex noises. 

There wasn't much action going on with Nikki's loose leglocks and Charlotte's screaming. This was no Diva's revolution WWE desperately splutters on about. It is laughable every time they mention it. They have no humble approach. Fans dislike it. The leg locks continued for near five minutes which truly was a stretch for all of us. 

Nikki was cheered at slamming Charlotte down. WWE hoped they were easily manipulated to Charlotte's side. Again, another telling sign of a failed revolution when you are trying to make the sides as you want it. This is exactly the same match structure from the Divas match last year! Hilarious.

Nikki was in charge and had no need but Brie and Alicia Fox pulled the ropes to stop Charlotte breaking free. Nikki stopped them in case she was disqualified. Charlotte came back with a stray boot. Charlotte got lucky on a standing 'Spear' which was a mid section clothesline as Nikki dropped from the second rope. Charlotte gained a quick pin to defeat Nikki Bella for the diva's title. 

She celebrated with her daddy Ric Flair. Even a defeat of Bella to change the strap won't give her any credibility when she got lucky and never actually did anything to win or earn it. WWE will never learn. Hey, they don't care, its Ric Flair's girl and they like her. Can it be any more lame? 

Six Man Tag Team
Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Mystery Partner Vs The Wyatt Family

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have both been treading water over the last few months. So the pair's solution was to give pre-match interviews of ignorance to nobodies in order to gain some favour. Imbeciles. That didn’t help their cause at all. Think beforehand. The pair are going up against the Wyatt Family but have a mystery partner. I wonder… Once the thrill wore off some random NXT call up charged past the curtain. It was the ignorant, only there for the paycheck, Chris Jericho! Great. We are so thrilled by another washed up has-been who achieved nothing in the last two runs and ruined the new talent to begin. Are the audience supposed to be entertained by another piece of ignorant trash that won’t ever materialise no matter how much Triple H’s ego is desperate to prove wrong? It won’t work. Think about how to make it a success, dear. Think hard. Find solution. Yours just won’t work at this rate, ever.

Upon waiting for their mystery partner, a fan entered the ring and stood next to Reigns and Ambrose. WWE still don't seem to get it, do they? Great security, too. 

They went up against Bray, Luke Harper and new addition Braun Strowman.

The action was standard rubbish starting until a stare down of Strowman and Reigns. Reigns looked entirely weak when quickly tagging in Ambrose for help. Strowman slammed them both down with ease. Jericho entered and was rapidly thrown to the outside on the pair of Reigns and Ambrose. Bray and Ambrose fill up the action again for the umpteenth time. Reigns and Harper then play as Reigns easily batters Harper, who can't get started. 

The Wyatt's kept the match together as Jericho later joined in with Strowman for bragging rights to be involved in the match with a new star for fun. It ruined Strowman more than helped even if he did slam Y2J's face into the mat. Chris Jericho passed out by Bearhug to Braun Strowman, adding the victory to the Wyatt Family's Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper.

After the match Ambrose and Reigns stare down Jericho who selfishly walks past and nudges Ambrose's shoulders in an act of disgust. 

Sheamus walked past and indicated to The Authority, who bragged of their ego to Rollins, that he may take the title from Rollins.

United States Championship

Seth Rollins (c) Vs John Cena

Seth Rollins is the man of the moment. WWE plan to have him defend both titles. His first is a natural and randomly slotted defence against John Cena who used the ‘automatic rematch clause’ to set this up. How entertaining. 

WWE chose to protect Cena so much that it denounced its champion Seth Rollins but claiming Jon Stewart is what won him the US title. Then they explained that Stewart won an award because of WWE's programming support. Now you know. Yet you return nothing. Naughty old coot. Play nice.

Cena decided to hop around on the spot in comedy fashion as fans told him he sucked. He still isn't serious about his career. It lacks credibility to his title, opponent and fanbase. What a waste of his great change he made a few months ago. Cena missed a stupid comical swing around punch which totally missed Rollins. It is actions like this that the audience cannot take seriously. Cena just doesn't truly care.

Cena is comfortable settling for less. The fans and critics are not. 

Cena got a cheap rollup after Rollins worked the crowd for two. That was cheap and did not sell Cena or Rollins as exceptional. With it the U.S title was useless. The flip through pin from Cena was a cheap and not well performed build but a decent change, thanks to Rollins. 

Cena flipped Rollins into a flip headlock / Hurricanrana to the corner as Rollins tried a powerbomb leading from the other side corner post. The pair traded chops. Rollins was caught but jumped out of a coming Attitude Adjustment. Rollins superkicked Cena's gut for a close two fall. 

Rollins missed a huge top rope splash as Cena generally moved out the way. The crowd respected with Eddie Guerrero chants to the late great Champion. 

Rollins conducted an expert double suplex, one after another from the top rope corner. John Cena locks in the armlock hold as Rollins makes the break. Rollins rolls Cena up into a powerbomb lift and smash in the corner pad. Rollins really put that in motion perfectly again. Rollins tried an AA but Cena reversed a back flip as Michael Cole told us was face first. Rollins hit his chest into the ground and his head didn't touch thanks to Cena's protected shoulder. John Cena returned with a chance opportunity and nailed Seth Rollins to cover him for a three fall and win the United States Championship. Seth Rollins officially became a transitional champion. John Cena stopped Rollins leaving Night of Champions to stay for his next match. Cena landed another AA on Rollins. 

WWE World Heavyweight Championship

The hapless sadsack from WCW, filled with such ignorance finally had a match in WWE. Sting was GIVEN a title match with no story, no earning of such right and a useless match previously with Triple H at the previous Wrestlemania which was a complete washout, which Sting couldn’t even win. How was this supposed to help encourage fans to enjoy the show this time round and work wonders with Seth Rollins? Sting again walked on with no momentum and just walked down the ramp as boring as it comes. There was nothing special about this face painted loon.

WWE had a lifesize statue erected in Seth Rollins honour to celebrate his majestic victory as double champion. On its unveiling night, Sting arrived on a trash compactor, known as the Trash Mobile, a fitting tool for his ignorance, to destroy Rollins' statue. 

Sting’s pathetic routine of fifteen years past in the ring did nothing for the title, fans or Rollins and was a throwaway moment of uselessness. This is why WWE is sinking with audiences. Most didn’t even know how Sting was. The rest were uninterested in Dixie Carter and WCW’s weak castoffs, who are not capable of being WWE material.

Sting arrived and took advantage of an unconscious and incapable Seth Rollins, as he tossed him outside. Fans cheered for Rollins to get up. Sting threw Rollins into the steps around the ring and walked around slowly to fill time. It wasn't exactly World title calibre. 

Rollins turned the tables to gain some control in-ring as the pair battled but Rollins looked a fool as Sting randomly used a clothesline to him to go outside again. Sting threw him lightly into the outside barricade in another weak exchange. Sting threw Rollins into the other barricade too. World class it was not. Sting stood in front of Rollins in the ring and showed his lacking momentum by Irish Whipping Rollins who flew all over, doing all the work. 

Rollins was booked more of the fool by trying to escape through the fan crowd but Sting grabbed him back and smashed him through the announce table. Sting smashed him the wrong way as Rollins' head bashed awkwardly off the table to the ground. This isn't the cheapness of TNA, doofus.

Rollins returned a smash of Sting to gain some time to recuperate. He took the title to leave, once again booked like a lesser than superstar champion by WWE. What's the point of such an extraordinary title reign which encourages a new wave of fans only to ruin it? WWE logic is flawed at these times for some old has been on a mega bucks, six salary deal who has earned nothing. 

Rollins stood himself up the top rope as Sting pushed him back. Seth did all the work once again and smashed his head into the barricade. 

Sting again pushed Rollins outside. That all this match is? Zzzz... So original. Sting did another TNA/WCW moment by getting to the top of the post and jumping on Rollins outside. It wasn't effective and caught by Rollins to the drop down. It was a loose transition. Sting dropped a backbreaker as Rollins put his foot on the rope. Weak as it comes for a pinfall attempt. Whilst Sting's facepaint melted away halfway, Rollins worked back to a trying match. Sting fell over in the ring after a Rollins clothesline attempt. 

The trainer's checked on Sting as Rollins worked the crowd. That's what happens when you mess around with forces beyond control. Karma is a testing sign for you to repent. They continued. Sting locked in the Scorpion Leg Lock. Rollins made the rope break. Sting rolls up Seth Rollins, who reverses with a perfect roll up victory to gain the three fall to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion. 

As Rollins celebrates, Sheamus arrives and boots Rollins down. The fans were unhappy at a potential cash in. Sheamus almost cashed in as Kane arrived and the Masked Kane scared off Sheamus with a chokeslam to a grounded Rollins. Kane was cheered but Sheamus was not. Rollins was treated like a complete chump! Yet he was the best performer of the night. WWE are a little off, that's for sure.

PPV Rating – 2/10

Men/Women of their matches – Ryback, Rusev, Kofi Kingston, Nikki Bella, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Seth Rollins

Man/Woman of the PPV – Seth Rollins

WWE Night of Champions was about one ‘thing’. Nothing. WWE’s lack of build-up and theme of two matches by the main champion Seth Rollins worked no wonders for WWE. The PPV was limp, ragged and tasteless. There was no flavour in this tepid throw together. No passion, no story and no reason or depth behind the stars made them all bit parts to a simple show only there for three hours. It was empty and fruitless.

Will undoubtedly rejoin, honourably. 

Dolph Ziggler, Rusev and Summer Rae’s story is pointless. It adds nothing to their empty feud and is a waste of everyone’s time. It’s going nowhere. Wrestling Wonders added three weeks ago that Rusev and Lana would be back together before Wrestlemania. WWE are already considering this idea. There is no mileage here in this implausible threesome. As for booking, it is fundamentally weak.

Kevin Owens fails to do anything of merit yet again. As ignorant as it comes, helped by Triple H’s dangerous self-obsession and neglect to wrestling that every instance he is involved in is going to bring down every aspect of WWE’s attempts to achieve more. Ryback, as ever, was a lost cause. Both need to go, none more so than a bumbling bowling ball with legs.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are in serious trouble. The pair are both useless, on their own merits. Plus they need management in opening their mouths. Reigns has not improved or developed in the six months on from the Wrestlemania ‘I am the one’ debacle. Ambrose on the other hand is a forgettable, typecast nobody standing on the sidelines. The Wyatt Family were passable, but also made no real progress and are floating on nothing. Their emphasis is empty and the new acquisition in Braun Strowman may add some air of interest for a bit, but needs more than just standing there and looking sheepish.

The PPV was built around Seth Rollins defending both his titles this evening and the possibilities of losses or wins. Would this protect or harm Rollins and his competitors? Cena had a place, be it an annoyance of loose skill and pre-selected favour. The ignorant, washed up old hag in Sting was a pitiful exchange which did WWE, Rollins and the title no favours. There was no story, no connection and worse of all, no passion. Rollins worked his backside off to help WWE look good, but it was a wasted effort in a match that should never have happened. Sting, a ruined WCW no mark, who had no skill in that former promotion, and a rip-off version of WWE’s The Undertaker, entered the most uninhibited match of all. The obscene and tepid run through of rehearsed routine of the past fifteen years has no relevance in the modern world of wrestling, desperately trying to survive against the lacking ratings they are supposed to be attaining. No-one wants this, but more worrying is that WWE cannot see it and hope to push it forward because it had some brainwave that this might make money. Foolish. Ignorance is not a virtue. Rollins was made to look the weakest WWE superstar, even as its grand champion for some old fart who can't go anymore. Way to go, WWE. So meaningful.

WWE’s so called ‘Diva Revolution’ was a grand concept which fell flat on its backside in two months or less. WWE who fans realise “Don’t know how to book women” have neglected real talents in Team B.A.D and favoured useless gals from the lucky sperm club, endorsed by Triple H, who idolises the ignorant old codger Ric Flair. Let’s be clear. This is nothing about Charlotte and all about her daddy. Her daddy has already sullied her reputation as an unattractive stick insect who cannot wrestle and “Woo’s!” just for the sake of it. The green challenger is no revolution and is only lucky thanks to being born into the business. That won’t save her useless skills. WWE really need to go to the drawing board, and Ric Flair needs to repent and shut up talking such liabilities. We know how much he loves to talk. For Nikki it was just another easy defence (despite loss) with no real competition and a waste of everyone’s time. It has gone back to the bathroom break stages, where Nikki, who has barely defended her title over the course of her record reign, could have been a standout champion. She has achieved nothing.

For all its efforts, Night of Champions was insanely flawed and filled with nothing of interest. None of the matches were classics, memorable or engaging. It is further proof that without greats like Cesaro, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, WWE’s future is immeasurably bleak. Triple H’s ego is infiltrating the product at a disastrous level of ignorance, which is destroying WWE’s interior walls. All for what? Some random nostalgia act that wont develop WWE’s future nor a bunch or travelling circus acts from the Indy circuit on NXT? All to prove he can change to run WWE? You are proving to be a complete liability. With it, WWE is struggling to achieve credible respect. WWE has gone back to its old ways. If Triple H is ever going to be able to prove he can run WWE effectively, he needs to ditch all ignorance and his insane ego to prove he is bigger than the fans. Triple H, a smark at best, is not best for business.

WWE chose to present it's next Pay Per View, Night of Champions live on Sunday 21st September 2014 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

With barely any interesting build up just as Summerslam and before it, could WWE produce a card that encouraged interest and a shake up? Would it set a path for new breeds to become champions and make their future for WWE? Or would it be another coasting show with severe turbulence, relying on old favourites with nothing added to the pot for fans and finance? Remember, every title is on the line. 

Let's find out...

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Uso's (c) Vs Cody Rhodes Stardust and Goldust

It was once again the typical jobbing tag match you'd expect from two teams not cleverly thought out of. The Uso's had made excellent progress in the Tag Division but since the team of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, WWE decided it was not important to give The Uso's enough buzz later on. After great battles with both, The Uso's were relegated to fighting the comedy sadacts Goldust and Stardust. 

Disgracing themselves with lame activity and pitiful promos, Cody Rhodes Stardust and Goldust won the tag titles with no real interest. The pair only won because one of the Uso's were injured. WWE were clearly desperate. Though it could have given it to a proper team. Instead WWE, clueless and out of ideas, chose two weak stars instead of many in the locker-room waiting for a chance. It could even have put two teams together of random stars if it had too. Stardust took advantage for the win after a Uso Superfly Splash.

WWE United States Championship
Sheamus (c) Vs Antonio Cesaro

Without any direction and a scared policy by WWE on what to do with him, Sheamus has been granted its mid level title by default. Helped with friends backstage with Triple H simply giving his friends a title just like Paige (which sees them become the worst possible bearer) Sheamus has again peaked. Would WWE however finally choose to boost Cesaro once again since planing his top line ascension only to stop his main event success story and keep him hovering instead? Stuck with no direction Cesaro, a fan favourite in a dishonourable context, has been stalled and plodding along. The company have been clueless with either since.

Sheamus held control early, as Cesaro came back, taking it outside. Cesaro landed huge and powerful uppercuts. Shemaus easily lands Irish Curse backbreakers out of nowhere. Cesaro continues to uphold the entire match as Sheamus is carried. Antonio went for the Neutralizer but failed as Sheamus countered it with a sloppy back drop instead. The lunacy began when Cesaro pounded Sheamus with punches. Sheamus stood there and yelled for "more" to become the new SuperCena of unbeatable might. This made the championship and Cesaro look inferior to the point of compete disinterest. Why WWE think this is a selling point is beyond belief. Sheamus simply shoves off Cesaro and lands an easy Brogue Kick from nowhere to receive the pinfall victory and retain hand-me-down gift formerly known as the US title. Cesaro had to feign being dazed to Sheamus's lacking power, which he did well, but was plain stupid. Well, as long as you are gym pals with Triple H, you will be okay. No wrestling required, huh? Perhaps the silver lining will be WWE moving Cesaro to the main event line as a heavy contender. WWE are still clueless how to book Sheamus, so allow him to plod along instead. He was supposed to be a dishourable man many moons ago, but Daniel Bryan got injured, so WWE stalled. Either way, its a bad time for Sheamus. Though he won't get realised or relieved of title,so its not that bad. Hey, hows the Network sales? Down are they? 

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Dolph Ziggler (c) w/ R-Ziggler Vs The Miz w/ Damien Mizdow

Is this rubbish still going on? Two non eventful players put at the highest of WWE's midcard? Yet the honour of such donation is not helping either jobber attempt to be intereting. Despite Ziggler's typical spot monkey antics and The Miz being a coward trying to run away at every turn, the pair can't create any interest. We warned WWE of this instantly two months ago, but again, they failed to listen. Thinking golden boy and fan desperation for jobber Ziggler who is only favoured for the fact Punk left and previous year dwellers stuck in the past hope for change WWE thought this would increase Network sales. Laughable.

To make it worse, WWE littered it with added extras. R-Truth in Ziggler's corner and Damien sandow in The Miz's was confusing for anyone just tuning in. The Announce team had two country sinnging celebrities on the show. 

Mid way throughout the match Sandow spoke to the guest commentators. Many boo'ed when Sandow was taken down. R-Truth dressed in Ziggler pants chased Sandow out of the arena. Ziggler then took a pin from behind on Miz, who kicked out. Why was baffling. Miz locked on the figure 4 Ric Flair rip off lock. Why WWE continued this pathetic match to drag out time was ridiculous. It was uninteresting to almost everyone. The Ziggler hopefuls gave a slight cheer as Dolph broke the rope and the dropped a Fame Asser. It was another strung out two count. Hurry it up, WWE. Sandow returned to distract Ziggler as The Miz rolled up Dolph Ziggler to pin and win the Intercontinental Championship. 

WWE have lost the plot. A fourth reign for Miz and yet another jobber reign for Ziggler boost neither. This series should never have happened and failed to boost Network sales. WWE have a bundle of mid level talent. They need to start putting them up there pronto. 

Scott Stanford gave WWE fans an announcement. Roman Reigns is injured and cannot return to Night of Champions. The surgeons were shown discussing Reigns recovery. He'll be out for several months though many in the WWE Universe felt due to WWE's illegitimacy with injury angles that this one wasn't genuine. Well, there goes the Wrestlemania main event. WWE's focus on Reigns as the new star which failed to excel in a short space of time was returned tonight. Get someone new in the frame. 

Seth Rollins Vs Roman Reigns

Rollins came to give a promo about his match. Emergency surgery "is no excuse" for not showing up this evening, Seth said. In the interest of "fairness" Rollins offered a ten second chance to join the match, otherwise Seth Rollins would be crowned victor in the match. The bell soon rang. Markish fans chanted for something inaudible meaning the audience and WWE disregard their fanaticism of non-materialising stars. Roman Reigns failed to turn up and Seth Rollins was crowned victor. Rollins added he needed to give fans some joy. He then issued an Open Challenge to anyone in WWE's locker room.

Seth Rollins Vs Dean Ambrose

In the parking lot a yellow taxi turned up. Dean Ambrose quickly popped out to charge towards Rollins as they scuffle in the ring. He failed to pay the taxi driver. Ambrose then took it to Rollins through the crowd, WWE were mocked for making this entirely predictable by home fans, while the crowd were desperate for any interaction. The Authority turned up to separate the pair. They cost the show as Ambrose was then tired out when jumping off a knee high platform around the titantron. They went back around the arena before the ring. It seemed entirely amateurish instead of interesting. Security forces finally stopped Ambrose. Ego hunter Triple H handed ties to cuff Ambrose's hands. It was an utter mess. Hey, we got to see the sexy grey suited James (Jamie Noble) Gibson though,. Pretty Stephanie was also in a flowery dress. How elegant. Steph overdid the elevation of Rollins with "right here!" as Money in the Bank cashier. There was no winner. Pathetic. 

Ambrose's real life girlfriend Renee Young was introducing the kick off panel with Booker T, Alex Riley and Big Show. It was boring. 

Mark Henry Vs Rusev w/ Lana

WWE brought out Lillian Garcia to sing the American National Anthem as Mark Henry became weepy throughout. Then Russia's national hero Rusev arrived. Henry flung Rusev outside. When back in a hair throw to the outside was seriously messed up. Both took the blame for that. Henry's hurl was sloppy with no enthusiasm. Rusev rolled through unconvincingly. Rusev followed with non touching corner body charges. The big boys quickly took it to the ground. They pretended to hold one another in painful submission holds with no intensity. Granted, Rusev's arms looked more connected than John Cena's. Rusev had difficulty lifting the lumbering Henry into the Rusev crush. Henry simply picked Rusev up when walking to drop a body slam. How weak for the nation's hero. WWE need to ditch the national approach or get clever with spots. It did not make America look great. Fans soon chanted the predictable "USA" games in patriotic support. The accolade of Rusev, the crush was then placed on Henry as he feigned pain well, to his credit. Rusev then submitted  Mark Henry instantly. At least Henry tried to boost Rusev as instructed. 

Chris Jericho Vs Randy Orton

Since screwing Bray Wyatt in their series over the last two months with his money grabbing return only, Chris Jericho was set to leave WWE again. With paycheck in hand, Jericho, who made Bray Wyatt lose and look an entire fool to being a star with the public is now facing Randy Orton. Not even Wyatt was allowed to finish the series with egotistical leech Jericho.

Jericho dominated the show with Orton once again making it all about his own ego. Jericho who worked his 1990's by the book approach took Orton outside into the steps. It looked weak. Orton worked with Jericho well, trying to make him a lovable superstar. The pair played in the corner ropes reversing a lot. 

Randy Orton delivered an expert superplex on Jericho for a two fall. The pair went outside. Orton brought it back in. Then back out. Carefully giving JBL his cowboy hat in a kind gesture, Orton tossed Jericho onto the table back first. Orton stablised the show as Jericho then returned a comeback out of nowhere. Jericho sloppily missed a kick stomp on Orton. Orton slammed a crisp sideslam to pin for two. Dated Jericho continually relied on corner spot moves. Jericho cheaply scored a Lionsault on Orton for two. He pitifully charged a kick into Orton on the ground. Orton flipped Jericho from the Walls lock. 

Orton, in charge, was staring to hear voices in his ear. Lining up for the punt Jericho moved in another cheap spot. Jericho then easily turned in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho, who since returns has never bothered to make the move convincing, sat atop Orton in hold. Orton almost reached a rope break, then pulled away from it. The powerful beast in randy Orton would not tap so easily and fought Jericho with fists upon a twisted reversal. Orton felt the feeling again. This time slamming the mat with resurgence. Jericho again lamely kick countered Orton. It did not, look, good. 

Jericho went to the next turnbuckle for another high flying move. Foolish Jericho then dropped down as Randy Orton countered with a thunderous RKO. He took the pinfall and defeated a wasteful Chris Jericho, who took the money and ran.

Jericho plans to write some more as his new 'hobby' including a second book. He also plans to tour as a wannabe rock star once more. Good luck with that. 

WWE Divas Championship
AJ Vs Nikki Bella Vs Paige (c)

It was obvious of this outcome since the Bella Twins broke up over jealous sisterly love to promote the new season of Total Divas. Would it however allow fluke champion Paige, who cheaply regained her title from AJ last month in a flunkie win yet again akin to her first run to have another lukewarm championship dilution?

Paige claimed Night of Champions would be where she would "excel" stationed int he bathroom break match. 

WWE had the cheek to show former champs Fabulous Moolah, Wendi Richter, Lita and Trish Stratus and said it was now the Divas title instead of Women's. When it was first Unified by Michelle McCool Vs Melina, the Women's title beat the Diva's meaning the Women's title was the one which was defuncted. Hey, this is WWE, they can change history when they see fit. Then again, bringing back the Women's title to a bunch of disgraceful women who can't wrestle wouldn't be any better either. The solution? Don't mention it as now Diva's (platinum) gold. 

Paige bumped with Nikki as the pair pushed. AJ jump up rope held drop-kicked the pair and Paige rolled out of the ring as a coward. Nikki and AJ took the strong action in the ring as chants of "CM Punk" rang for his fiancee, AJ, who lost her title last month as a result. Nikki did a move on Paige returning as AJ rolled outside. Nikki followed through with an armbar. Paige rolled it over unconvincingly to get a pin. AJ slammed Paige into the barricade outside then Bella after. Paige pleaded with pal AJ in the ring now. She wanted AJ to kiss her hand, which AJ rejected. She slammed her down for a two fall. Paige stood in the ring alone while AJ climbed the post. Nikki knocked both down to pin AJ for two as Paige ran outside again. Nikki was tossed over the ropes but Paige messed it up. Still on the rope Bella waited for Paige to kick her off properly. Inexperience Paige clubbed blows on AJ and took rest periods after just watching her. She gave weak knee jabs to AJ as Nikki pushed her off the ropes. 

Nikki viciously slams AJ down with a slam for two. AJ locks on the Black Widow submission. Paige charges in a hits a kick on both and pins both for two falls only one after the other. Paige touches AJ with non interesting clubs then asking "Ready" as they waited a while for Nikki Bella to come from behind as all three did the powerbomb suplex triple fall down spot.  Nikki hoisted Paige up with a rack pack and slam to cover for two, stopped by AJ. Chasing AJ outside with blows, AJ flung her outside. AJ inside swiveled round Paige with the Black Widow submission. Flunkie Paige tapped out to the Black Widow submission to become a thee time Divas champion. 

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena Vs Brock Lesnar (c) w/ Paul Heyman

Cena arrived to heavy boos. Brock Lesnar tore the house down with arrival. Michael Cole explained that Brock only had "three matches this year."  You have to wonder will it be Cena or Lesnar as champ when the next PPV arrives, Cole also mentioned. 

Before they began the Cena Sucks/Let's Go chants arose again. Lesnar took control with blows. He tried to get German Suplexes again as Cena quickly flurries around in swift mayhem to  stun and Attitude Adjustment Brock to a one fall fail. Lesnar placed uncoordinated Cena into a Kimura Lock, reached by rope break. 

The chants viciously rose again. 

Brock launched the first German Suplex on Cena. Sixteen of those decimated Cena at previous PPV Summerslam for Lesnar's title gain.

Another Kimura on Cena where John places his leg on the rope. Cena tries to comically come back with another suplex. Two fall only. Lesnar drags Cena to the centre. A flip suplex with another, unreleased into a triple suplex. Cena failed to put his shoulders down botching the pin attempt. Lesnar halted any attempt Cena made for a comeback.

Cena quicly reached a rope break as Lesnar placed an arm lock. When faced with forces against him "Brock Lesnar shuts them down at every turn." Michael Cole added, before a comical jibe of "a clinic." It's a slobberknocker!

Cena returned in corner with left and right touches which were comically pathetic attempts at a punch. There's more believably in aerobics movements. 

Cena came back with a forearm smash. Cena went for the Attitude Adjustment but felt another crushing German suplex instead. Incompetent Cena caused Lesnar to have a nose bleed. Cena got an opportunistic out of blue AA for a close fall at two only. 

Cena then landed an STF hold, Lesnar rolled it over with a Kimura lock. SuperCena lifted Lesnar up to his feet whilst still in lock, to break the hold. Cena lifted and landed an AA, followed with the no pressure STF. This made the match of decency again laughable, as every Cena match does. Cena then goofily did his open mouth comedy moments. He locked in the hold three times, puling Lesnar back everytime. He then slammed the fourth AA on Cena. Seth Rollins then smashed Cena with a briefcase hit. The disqualification was set. Money in the Bank holder Rollins received cheers for a cash in. He thought about it and stopped as Lesnar resurfaced. Rollins then kept Lesnar down as Seth Rollins cashed in his contract immediately. John Cena then attacked Rollins outside sending him to the back. The bell didn't ring so the cash in 'failed'. Lesnar F5'ed Cena instead. As result of a DQ, John Cena beat Brock Lesnar to set up a third battle. Lesnar, however, remains WWE World Heavyweight Champion as a result. 

PPV Rating - 3/10

Man/Woman of the PPV - Brock Lesnar

Upon his leaving tonight, Jericho made sure he would get Randy Orton, WWE's best worker, to try and boost his weak profile in hopes of a credible leaving match. Parasite Jericho used WWE yet again, and WWE ever foolishly allowed it. How weak is that? 

Forever is the laughing stock of WWE's tag division. Another failure of Triple H's drives to gain popularity with fans with his ego to try and takeover WWE someday are hilarious. This time he chose two empty vessels to hold the titles. It is officially done for. There is no worthy tag division in WWE. Well done, Triple H. It is renowned to nothingness.  

With a capable roster on its books why WWE neglects its talented staff in Curtis Axel, Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro and others is a mystery. Then again, he who is in charge overall thinks these people are 'too small' instead of a bulky physique like the useless Mark Henry's and Big Shows. WWE needs to re-evaluate its worthy mid-tier stock and give them their boost. 

Yet another one of Triple H's fan fave concepts fell flat on its egotistical ass. Kharma, Sin Cara and now Paige. The flunkie champ with no skill, style or connection continues to ruin every part of the divas and women's division (if there is one) and refines the matches to tackyness. Hire some real wrestling women. They are needed. Models and fan sexiness are not. Believe it or not, the audience find a capable wrestling female far more attractive than a glamour babe. To her credit, Nikki Bella also held a decent showing tonight. 

WWE continue to make the cash in that never happened angle look ridiculous. Granted, it was better than previous years, but still rather pathetic. WWE really need to think about these things and push forward with them or not. Making a lunacy of it all does not elevate the title, the competitor nor the briefcase holder. It also makes the company look foolish. 

Brock Lesnar is WWE's man of the hour. He ticks the boxes. Though he is not the only saving grace it has, or should need. To make it a full success, WWE need to place many competitors in his way that aren't going to lose easily and be mainstream competition as a potential loss for Lesnar. While they love it now, fans cannot fully endorse a mid time champ when no competition is around. It can't and shan't always be Cena, either. This will drive people away than encourage interaction with cash. 

At least Mark Henry tried to help in the end, but it was not enough overall. Sloppy and empty, just like Rusev tonight, keep these matches if they occur to a bare minimum, less than five minutes. Big Show is next in line. Make it brief, please. 

Another impromptu match was obvious. It cannot be helped when injury surfaces. Perhaps this with Roman Reigns will prompt WWE to start thinking forwardly. Antonio Cesaro should be given his first name back and pushed to the main event growing spotlight. Cesaro, snubbed for Reigns, is now hovering mildly along. Still making his name worthy, which others would have become jobbers by now thanks to WWE's lack of initiative highlights Cesaro's skill.

However, while returning, Dean Ambrose looked a bit of a stooge. His return was one-way, empty and sad. As a growing and likeable character, this should be considered very carefully than the same old way. 

The cash-in lunacy continues. WWE need to have a firm approach or risk everything. As a credible option for stardom, Seth Rollins could lose all credibility thanks to The Authority and the yes/no cash-in attempts. The comedy behind it saps Rollins of all growth and skill he achieved over the year. He is one of WWE's, if not, best future prospect. Ruining him is beyond stupidity.

WWE Night of Champions will see every major title in the company defended at the event.  On September 16^th 2012 did WWE’s celebratory concept manage to open a wider spectrum to crowning new stars, new champs and line up new options for a future ahead of them?

Replacing Jerry Lawler after his heart attack would be JBL, John Bradshaw Layfield. Layfield an adequate replacement, sold for stars and gave them a chance with audience. Different from his days when involve with the roster. It was refreshing to see someone with a little gutsy bark that stereotypical whispers in general to differentiate from all commentators in the WWE system. 

Of course, WWE had planned to bring back JBL with Cole. It was already in the pipeline, Lawler's unfortunateness however, sped this pairing up a little.

Intercontinental championship

Fatal 4 Way

The Miz ( c ) Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Sin Cara Vs Cody Rhodes

The Intercontinental champion, Raw superstar The Miz, holding a Smackdown championship, defended against Raw superstar Rey Mysterio and Smackdown’s Sin Cara and Cody Rhodes under Fatal 4 Way rules.

With two high flying superstars and two mid technical stars, this match had potential to exceed expectation, however failed to do so fully. The stars managed to please audience enough, though lacked fuller offence and with Cody Rhodes limited to what he could achieve to protect the other three in standing, became the fall guy, literally.

With both Cara and Mysterio set to face one another at Wrestlemania in the first ever mask match, so WWE can set a Guinness World Record of how many people in the audience wear a mask (WWE will distribute them free at the event) WWE mad sure it protected both of them. Though with neither scheduled to win, and The Miz or Rhodes would surely lose. Could WWE drop its champ to Rhodes in order to correctly re-assign the Smackdown title to a rostered Smackdown member?

After fair flying and ground work, with a lot of outside deteration, Cody aimed to remove the mask of Sin Cara, where a senton halts his attempt leaving Rhodes to remove Rey out of the ring, Cara returns by kicking Rhodes in the head, though Sin Cara tries to place a mask on Rhodes now. Miz catches Rhodes with s Skull Crushing Finale for a near fall, ending at two. Miz shortly ends up with a Sin Cara Azul (blue) mask on him from the Red masked Cara, leaving him confused momentarily. Rhodes plans to nail a Cross Rhodes on Cara after resurfacing, misses and Cara soon gets planted by The Miz with a swift SCF to bag a three fall to retain the IC championship. Cody Rhodes was pinned.

Make me a referee...

Oh No! WWE Diva Kaitlyn, who wasn’t supposed to win the Battle Royal weeks ago on Raw to earn number one contender status, had mysteriously broken her ankle, later updated on Twitter by Joey Styles / WWE that she had “broke her tendon” and seemingly would not be able to participate in the championship match. This alert was noticed by Booker T’s assistant, Eve, first on the scene. She would file her report immediately to her boss, Smackdown General Manager; Booker T. Eve is a Raw superstar in case you forgot.

Tag Team Championship

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth ( c ) Vs Kane and Daniel Bryan

Faith was partly restored to the Universe when it seemed WWE had revamped some time and effort into its Tag division. It hasn’t. It just makes it stronger when high level stars like Kane and Bryan enter into it. However, the two now give it meaning, per se. The newly formed dysfunctional team of Bryan and Kane, after attending their Anger management therapy sessions added intense levels of tag action for months to come. Many angles can be derived if WWE don’t rush it. Would they, however, be successful on the night, despite against each other in part?

The match highly centred around their tagging out to one another through a ‘blind tag’ – where the in ring man never willingly tags the partner featured most, making the team defending their championships redundant. Though Kingston and Truth were allowed offence to keep the feel going with the possibility of retaining despite the almighty team of Bryan / Kane cancelling one another out.

Naturally Kane and Bryan won shortly after when bryan kicked Kane in the head after a tag in, seeing Kane plunge atop Kingston to cover for three. Kane and Daniel Bryan are the new tag champs.

Kaitlyn’s attack by a mysterious hooded shadow had made news to Booker T via assistant Eve. The Hoeski was then placed into the match herself! What a shock! Eve, who botched her ending with Kaitlyn in the battle royal for number one contender weeks ago on Raw, was rewarded with the title shot. She will face Layla later.

United States Championship

Antonio Cesaro ( c ) w/ Aksana Vs Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder won the #1 contender spot in the pre-show battle royal to determine Cesaro’s challenger.  Ryder, who still needs to hone his skills considerably, is jobber at best. Though the ‘upper card jobber’ may be favourable for now, had no chance in a real wrestling contest with a professional and superb force that is Antonio Cesaro. Antonio showed technique, ground work down and overall star quality befit of a champion. That lucky Aksana even got to kiss him to celebrate. Lucky cow!

Randy Orton Vs Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero

Randy Orton received some negativity from the crowd, this was down to one reason that the WWE Universe want change from the big three ( Cena, Punk, Orton) seeking new challengers for them and new risen and developed star who can hold their own. Most are stuck on NXT, in developmental or mid card level. Time to call up with strong backstories to character and entry on WWE programming if it is to strive to survive.

Being in a match with a top line star (Orton) doesn’t not instantly make someone their equal. Being their equal in the match is having skill, showcase and style. Ziggler lacks all three to a main star role. He has minor levels and he has peaked. He cannot rise above those levels anymore and it is time for him to leave. The WWE Universe don’t want Dolph Ziggler, they want change and see that WWE’s only chance may be Dolph because of guidance’s and Money In The Bank briefcases, aswell as advice on where to take Ziggler from certain people. Ziggler is done. Move on. He cannot follow through. Invest in a new star that may just be able to make it.

JBL presented Vickie Guerrero well for her excellent ringside attendance, as always. She manages to work Ziggler well. When she leaves Ziggler, as WWE plan to put Ric Flair in her place, Vickie will go on to better things. Ziggler will not. Guerrero is the only success Ziggler maintains. Without her he would be nothing. Randy Orton let the crowd know how he felt, as many failed to appreciate the level of respect Orton has made for making Ziggler have excellent matches.

Both had a very strong match filled with technical ability and wrestling psychology from Orton. Though the match was not as strong as their former outings, and was missing the certain something that needed to create the spark to ignite the match.

Replacing Kaitlyn in the match Eve was supposed to win herself though botched it weeks ago in the battle royal on Raw, the WWe’s ideal match played out again. It proves it can re-arrange bad decisions and replace with good ones IF it wants to. Of course this wasn’t a good one, but the point remains to many matches. WWE feels the match between Layla and Eve was adequate. It was not.

A brief encounter filled with back and forth traditional diva values of nothingness, Hoeski Eve soon snared the unified Women’s title in the guise of the Divas title from Layla’s waist in a nothing match which showed no technical ability, too much outside action (because inside would highlight their inaccuracies) and shades of the Kelly Kelly screams of orgasm and no star quality to win a championship, even with basic moves.  It was boring, too.

The Hoeski wins again

Daniel Bryan was seen down the corridors backstage proclaiming he was the tag team champions. Kane then appeared and said he was the champs. Raw General Manager AJ and Dr. Shelby appeared. Shelby congratulated them both for working together from their therapy sessions. AJ screamed she had had enough. Kane ended the skit hurling water over Bryan. If this wasn’t PG, Kane would not have used water…

World Heavyweight Championship

Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez Vs Sheamus ( c )

For over three months the feud between Rio and Shea has been dreadful. Rio continually sells. Sheamus barks and WWE gave us another serving instead of scrapping it. Why? Because WWE have nothing else to offer, further highlighting the need for new talented guys to rise up the ranks. If they are stuck on NXT or developmental, they won’t come up anytime soon, will they? Move them up to learn asap or you’ll never gain any stars to have a future. WWE want Sheamus to be strong enough on his own as champ before it turns Orton as heel opponent. That will take forever at this state. Sheamus loses respect every day he holds the title with no style or professionalism involved.

The Brogue Kick was banned previously; however Booker T reinstated the dangerous move. Del Rio once again overworks the arm of the champ, though manages to do this in a newer style, not that audience noticed.

It was the same match of the same proportions with the same outcome. Sheamus won another pointless victory that became a nothing match, despite Del Rio’s excellent work again.

WWE Championship

John Cena Vs CM Punk ( c ) w/ Paul Heyman

The first time CM Punk main events was here, against John Cena, in Boston. Also clad in pink attire to partner with breast cancer awareness month, Cena, not Punk as trademark pink pants on Punk have been known, as well as Punk being WWE champ, had his first main event collision against Cena.

The question, how can Cena lose in his hometown of Boston? Many thought it not possible and a dead cert for Cena to claim victory amongst all the media hype and one sided sway. Would Heyman also involve himself?

Shock to the system, Cena was highly booed in his hometown, not the reception he nor WWE were welcoming. Real Wrestling fans came back, those who had previously left or not bothered to show up as the Cena hypocrisy continued on WWE programming. WWE, surely now, must take sustained notice of this. (Cara and Mysterio also received mammoth boos earlier.)

Tonight was the 'Punk first main event' in Massachusetts. Only when John Cena is the headline act, huh? Paul Heyman steadied himself at ringside in CM punk's corner, would he interfere? 

During the match Punk had hurt his leg to which Cena's sell was absolutely diabolical. After the hold Cena simply moved his leg off from the submission hold and feigned injury pain from the hold of breaking it by moving his leg out of position. Pitiful. Chants of "you can't wrestle!" bellowed from the crowd as Cena soon attempted the infamous five knuckle shuffle. Shockingly Punk countered the fall of the shuffle with a boot halting the attempt. This would be the first time anyone countered this manoeuvre. Punk is credited with this accolade. It may have been highly needed for Punk at this time. The champ was soon rolled through by Cena, where Punk proceeded to grab the ropes to evade an Attitude Adjustment attempt causing a drop to the floor outside. Cena for the first time in his career chose to launch himself onto CM Punk to the outside with a mid rope dive in a risky strategy to topple the champion.

Punk was allowed his pink pants back on Raw next evening

Now would have been a perfect time for Paul Heyman to reveal a set of brass knuckles and possibly capitalise on them and John Cena. WWE should consider giving Heyman brass knuckles if he ever needs to intervene as these suit his demeanour more than some other random foreign object. Heyman had yet to intervene, still further enhancing his involvement at ringside.

Soon Cena would attempt another AA to which Punk flip armed his opponent into the Anaconda Vice to which Cena soon reversed (with a flip) into and STF submission. Once again Cena chose to disrespect all wrestling conventions not working the match without even a long sell. There was absolutely no connection from Cena's forearms locking on the grip hold with his opponent as always. Punk soon changed the situation by applying his own STF on Cena. There was no sell on the mouth here from JC.

Cena soon delivered a suplex then leading to punches, to which the audience booed every punch Cena made to CM Punk who received joyous cheers when he soon retaliated with kicks to his aggressor. Punk soon travelled to the turnbuckle where he dropped the diving elbow connecting on Cena. Punk received a two fall for his efforts.

Ooh, Hi Baby! Flash me!

CM Punk attempted a few GTS finishers, as Cena and Punk countered a while in traditional Cena fashion before a sideslam from John. Cena dropped the 5 knuckle shuffle and an Attitude Adjustment for a two fall only. With a roundhouse kick on Cena, Punk took to the air for a moonsault, which failed to connect, as Cena lifted up with a “Rahhh” chant filled with animated piffle. CM Punk dropped a GTS where only Cena could kick out on a two count. Anyone else would have lost.

Punk shocked the world by using a Rock bottom finisher which had no one shocked and no one talking about it since after. The Rock will fight the WWE champion at Royal Rumble in January for the championship, whoever the champ is at that time. It will be Punk. Cena will win the title from The Rock at Wrestlemania.

The Rock Bottom scored two. Cue Heyman? Watching on concernedly, Heyman remained positioned though swayed a little,  tempting his engagement to audience.  Cena soon launched an AA on Punk for a two fall. What came next was terrible. Cena and Punk, near the top turnbuckle saw Cena catch Punk and drop him off the turnbuckle with a back drop. Shockingly, John Cena won with a three fall to pinch the WWE Championship. On a Backdrop!

As Cena celebrated to his fanfare entrance theme, Punk’s arms were down on the three count, signalling that the match was indeed a draw, and as a result, the champion retains the gold. We have touched on this before, and perhaps inclined or if not, regardless, the decision of a double pin was pathetic. This decision just ruined the title, the champion and challenger not to mention the audience. From this point forth, everything has been undone and cannot be recovered as it once was. Punk was screwed. There is no going back, neither have relevance, nor does the title. CM Punk, of course, retains the title. It was the only way WWE felt it could ‘protect’ its money making, media machine in his hometown, in which he was booed.

Men/Women of their matches - Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Antonio Cesaro, Randy Orton, Layla, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk

Sheamus and Del Rio was way over its time, though WWE cannot find another opponent worthy, so have added another one in an attempt to make Sheamus profitable as champion. Currently, Sheamus is a soap opera star as a fluke with the championship. He has nothing else. Rio will go on to excellent matches. Sheamus, will not. Sheamus’ next opponent will be the bumbling Big Show, WWE have no other stars. Big Show, is a Raw superstar. The World title is a Smackdown championship.

CM Punk’s stead was utterly destroyed when Cena ‘won.’ Punk, though a string character, will not be able to come back from this. WWE ordered the finish in order to protect Cena, and in hindsight ruined its champion and all his progression since. Punk may have well as lost the title. Wearing it, he is still tenantless. Those stating Big Show should interfere in the Cena/Punk match to 'make it better' which also shows that they thought it was drab to begin with, the answer to your thoughts is -  Vince McMahon thrives off of retard marks.

The tag titles needed to switch and was a wise move to the team of Bryan and Kane. Kane has been treading water as of late, while Bryan, although excellent In ring, has had all his interest cut by WWE since the over reliance on the Punk programs being continually milked. In doing so, Bryan lost some watchability as fans appreciate his work in ring, but couldn’t watch it anymore due to constantly seeing WWE ask the same format every time. Both have a chance as unconventional tag champs.

Layla may be a bad but improving worker, but transferring the unified Women’s title to Eve was one step worse. Either Kaitlyn should have won to give the division a new feel of boost or most importantly, replaced the challenge with Natalya or Tamina and have them take the title to reform the state of it all. Eve only won to annoy Wrestling Wonders, which is just sad. Making decisions based on annoying those that offer support as a “business decision” was backward to say the least. Eve is a dreadful worker in a costume.

Cesaro is the only talent WWE have left to reform a new era. He is expertly needed, but cannot carry the show alone.

Dolph Ziggler is not going to materialise. No-one wants him, they want someone. Putting faith into a star that is not the future should explain that you should not support a hopeful that has none, just because you want anyone to fill the void and change WWE’s position. Randy Orton can work anyone well, therefore placing stars that have the opportunity to grow are the ones to implement.

Cody Rhodes should be moving up, not down. WWE need to re-evaluate his position and place atop the pecking order. He should at least be squaring off with Sheamus than Big Show. Rhodes has following, a chance at a future and can re-imburse title worth. Rhodes would have been an even better fit as champion. Then there is Christian, in trouble, but loitering around as competition. WWE favour the big guys, which proves their big boy shows fail when the PPV stems out.

I am a boredom...

The Miz can still carry the company can fruitfully. However should have changed babyface on his return. WWE can remove the title and force him babyface to regain his right when on the correct brand for said title. WWE shouldn’t be mocking the future for a place in a record book.

For a company claiming others do it just for their own name value, WWE contradictally maintain the profiles of Cara/Mysterio to gain a Guinness World Record, at their grandest PPV of all time. Yeah, keep making your name, boys.

Aiming to create a new level seemingly, WWE’s PPV’s between the big four and Money In The Bank, booking PPV’s has now become standard. Just a PPV, and nothing more to fill its time, WWE proves inconsistent if it remains this way. No new stars evolve after another two years of possible hope. How many more years roll on before fans finally say no more and switch off, because, WWE have no plans to make any new stars and only hope to enforce money from you. There does not seem to be a future in sight. At this rate, their won’t be one at all.
